It looks like Alexis' surgery went great. I was so glad that she was doing well and that I had the opportunity to visit her and give her my support as a friend. When she showed me all of the things the doctor had pulled out of her nose I was shocked to say the least! I don't know how she was able to cope that long without surgery.
It makes me sad that she was given such a hard time about what she was going through from some of the other girls. It's not easy to have such an extensive surgery done, let alone to be concerned about it. It's sad to say, but I believe that bullying comes in all forms of shapes and sizes. I hope she doesn't let what some of the other girls and what they think affect her. Accusations and opinions are formed whether you like it or not. You just have to ask yourself: Who's the source? Do they matter? Will they even be relevant in my life five years from now? Probably not, so who cares!?!
Alexis really needed this surgery and when all is said and done she will be glad she did, regardless of what anyone else thinks. In the end it doesn't matter anyways. Bullies will be bullies AND that's just what bullies do.
