I'm Just Being Honest

Tamra stands by her argument with Alexis, but apologizes for throwing Terry under the bus.

By Tamra Judge

I am on my way to Mexico, not to be confused as Costa Rica, looking at wedding destinations. So, I will get straight to the point.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Orange County on  Peacock and the Bravo App.

First of all I would like to say. . .Vicki, I brought you coffee every time I visited you. Just saying!

When Alexis asked to meet me I said "no" at first. I figured she just wanted to start some drama, and I was not up for it. So far this season I have tried to bite my tongue and rise above most of the drama, and I didn't want to go there with her. I knew I had strong feelings and I was not able to hold them back. Therefore nothing good would come out of it. I know that we will never be true friends, and I was OK with that. Not everyone needs to be friends.

After thinking about it for a day or so and talking with Gretchen, I decided "what did I have to lose"? Lets get one thing straight, I do not hate Alexis. I actually feel sorry for her. Sure you see me rip on her about the things she says or does, but honestly off camera she doesn't ever enter my mind. Her priorities are so screwed up which makes her very hard to be around. I tried for two years to get to know her. I invited her to my home for parties and to workout with me. It's just not in the cards for us.

I think she is beautiful and oftentimes has a kind heart, but the other stuff she does and says is just hard to tolerate. When I say she is fake I am not talking about her appearance. I don't judge people by what they look like. I learned a long time ago you can't judge a book by its cover. I think she is a very pretty girl with great fashion style -- but she doesn't have a clue. I actually see a little of myself in her ten years ago in regards to her being so insecure.

As a viewer you see her as the dingy blonde that is harmless and tries to live by the Bible. Whats wrong with that...Right? Nothing if that was truly her!

When I call her fake it is because what you see on TV is NOT what you see off-camera. We are on a reality show and we are hired to be REAL people. Not to put on a show of what we think is more interesting for the viewers. I take this job very serious as I do every job I have in life. You can say a lot of things about me but one thing you can't say is that I act fake or I don't do my job 100 percent. I will show you the good, bad, and ugly. I am not worried about being the richest, smartest, or prettiest Housewife. I am just me and I want people to know that everyone has problems, if you're on TV or not.

Why do I call her fake and pretentious? I could give you a list of reasons (including rented lifestyle, her “careers,” attempts to look popular, etc.) but the thing that really makes me upset is the way she talks down to people at stores, restaurants, the girl that designs her dresses, etc. I am a person that does not care if you pick up my trash or perform surgery on me -- everyone should be treated the same. There is so much more but I will save it for the reunion show that we film in two weeks. Some of you asked me if I was too hard on her and my answer is: First, she asked to meet me and to confront me on our issues. I did not ask for this. I told her up front I was going to be brutally honest with her, and I was. I am not one to sugarcoat my feelings and she knows that. Other than the show, Alexis is not in my life at all. As you will see in upcoming episodes I am not the only one that is annoyed by her. . .

I am sorry if I hurt her feelings. It was not my intention. Sometimes I have a hard time remembering not everyone has thick skin like me. Again, it is not my intention to hurt her -- maybe just open her eyes.

Most of all, I am sorry for repeating what Gretchen told me. After 45 minutes of arguing with her I was so frustrated, and it just came out of mouth. I threw Terry under the bus and that was not cool. I am truly sorry for that.

I am opening a fitness studio and very excited about it. With all the filming, the successful launch of WinesbyWives.com, and juggling three kids and their schedule it has been very challenging. My passion is fitness and has been since I was 18 years old. I have always wanted to have my own studio, and now I am finally doing it. I have spent a lot of time doing research, drawing up a business plan, and making sure that I know exactly what I'm getting myself into.

Eddie has been a great help. With almost 20 years of fitness experience, he is very knowledgeable. Eddie, who helped opened and now works with his father running a very successful family law firm, also teaches spin classes twice a week. He is a competitive cyclist and a active member of Entrepreneurs Organization. I couldn't have a better person on my side to help me make this happen.

I will keep you posted on the progress of my fitness studio. Here are some of the classes we will be offering: Spin, TRX, Bootcamp, Zumba, and Kickboxing to name a few.

Thank you so much to Ethan at Bird Rock Fitness in San Diego for letting us pick his fitness brain. I feel like we walked away with a lot of great information. I also would like to thank Amy at Ladera Ranch Dance Academy for letting me use her studio to audition trainers.

Have a great memorial weekend
