You Could Feel the Awkward Settling In

Alexis doesn't believe Vicki had a threesome, but she does believe her kids will never lick an ice wall like Tamra.

And Whistler continues. . .

I thought it was respectable that Lauri came over to Lydia's room to ask if she was still invited to attend the dinner after "Saga on the Ski Slopes" occurred. I was equally impressed that Lydia said yes, after admitting the dinner was going to turn into pandemoniam. And, of course, it did.

There is one thing I know, and that's skiing for three hours in freezing cold weather will work up an appetite! Walking into the chef's room, it smelled so yummy and I couldn't wait to eat! Then. . .we all sat down. That's when the "awkard" set in! The dinner table was just plain stiff. There was silence, tension, and discomfort. My appetite was beginning to diminish while I waiting for the elephant in the room to be addressed. I remember thinking I wish we could just get it over with! Although I can understand why Lauri wanted to discuss all of this with Vicki, I think dinner was the wrong time. Luckily, it didn't flare up as much as I expected and I did enjoy a few bites of the chef's delectable filet! Do I believe Vicki had a threesome? NO NO and triple NO!

Let's go snowmobiling!!! This was something I was excited to do the entire trip! As I've grown older, and now have three children who depend on me, I definitely am not as daring as I use to be. But I couldn't wait to (safely) drive my machine! LOL. I died laughing when Vicki, Ms. Queen of the Snowmobiles, was first to tip her vehicle! That girl cracks me up! I always know I will get a good laugh when I'm with her. Just like her peeing in the snow, or the snowball fight with Gretchen. Ahhhh the laughs. Love you, Vicki.

By the end of the day, I was so happy I was wearing my faux fur hat because everything on my body was frozen after the 3 hour snowmobile ride! My faux fur hat is available in black, white, and brown at

Dinner that night was sure to be drama-free since Vicki and Lauri had already hashed out their differences. Oh, wait, no it wasn't because none of us knew that Tamra enjoys sticking her tongue on ice! Craziness! That was a very scary moment for all of us. However, in the end I thanked Tamra for making the night memorable. I now had a souvenir photo to take home to my children as the first person mommy ever knew to do this. The good news is my children will never make that mistake now because the photo scared them a little, as well as made them laugh.

I still haven't explored how to make the nitrogen ice cream at home yet, but my kids enjoyed the video of it. Now that was cool! If anyone knows, please inform me!

We are half way through summer, so if you are in the area and your kids are wiggly, join us at one of our locations and jump it out! Details are at or

Shannon Settles the Score

If Andy's asking "What's the score, Shannon Beador?" Shannon thinks she's definitely won.

This is Blog #20, my last Blog for the season! The past year was been a wild ride for both me and for my family. I have come to many realizations about myself, made lifelong friends, experienced some tough moments, and embarked on a path to a more peaceful self. So to use Andy’s phrase, “What's the score, Shannon Beador?” I would say without a doubt that I have definitely won.

I am happy that the viewers got a little glimpse into my sometimes unconventional ways! For me, it's all about good energy. I love that Vicki’s business has clearly benefited from trying feng shui with Elaine Wright. If you can't get hurt, there is no reason to try anything holistic. If you actually benefit, why wouldn't anyone want to go the natural way? If my children tend to feel better after seeing Dr. Moon and not have to take antibiotics, then I am a happy mom. It's all about creating a healthy balance!

I am an open book and am often criticized for it, but I am who I am. I don't know many couples married for 13 years that have a perfect relationship. Everyone has ups and downs, and although it may be difficult and require effort, it is possible to move through it and make things better. I have said it many times in the season that divorce is not an option. I will always fight for my marriage and my family. It truly touches my heart that so many fans have been and continue to root for David and I. I am so appreciative and grateful for all of your positive comments! Thank you!

Do Tamra and Heather truly want to move forward and potentially develop a friendship with me? Only time will tell. But for now, I have amazing friends surrounding me, including Vicki Gunvalson and Lizzie Rovsek. And most importantly, I have been blessed with the most incredible family anyone could ask for. That is where all of my energy is focused.

I will never forget this entire year, both the good and the bad, because each moment took me on the journey to where I am today. And today, I am in a phenomenal and happy place. Thank you for taking this journey with me!
