You totally won me over with that card for Grayson.  The other housewives would have bought a materialistic gift from Neiman Marcus.  That card was worth millions and I'm sure I'm not the only one who felt that way when you presented them with the card.  Welcome to O.C!

Lydia, you're a genuine and NICE person, it comes across so clearly on camera. I laughed when you quoted Tamra but said "beeyotch". The scene when you were out shopping with your mom last week was so sweet and cute, it seems like a different world from the rest of the show, just genuinely real with affection and kindness between people who love and care for eachother, no ulterior motives involved. You are a rare breed among people and probably a sole specimen among housewives. I'm a fan and I haven't even seen much! 

Don't let these women drag you into any fight with them. Keep truely neutral and refuse to talk about anyone behind her back to a group of women who have conflict with the one in absentee. And you will be safe. It is futile to fight with these three gansta ( H, G, T ) because you would never win. You and your husband look good and gracious. It is nice to see that on the OC housewives scene for a change.

I congratulate your mom on her sobriety.  You do, however, act like the dysfunctional kid of a user.  You pretend to yourself that you want to be a peace maker and you probably really think that is who you are.  In reality, you want more than anything to NOT be the kid with the mom that is always high.  You want to be accepted by the people that can rip you to shreds...even if it means selling out friends, because you live with shame.  Nothing to be ashamed of and it makes sense, but this is what you need to resolve to be healthy.  You can change. 

Hugs...I think you mean well but you really need to stay away from peace making right now...these females have issues and dynamics that just isn't always rational..they'll turn like a pack of rabid wolves. Try to give us viewers some real life to watch, love your mom, her attempt to stay away from the smoke is going to be rough, I am almost 50 and see nothing at all wrong with it...she seemed to be missing it :) It was so funny to hear how you said when you were younger you took advantage of her state of being happy and giving....that was so honest and you and your Mom are still so loving.....lovely to see :)   wish they'd have a Parents of the housewives show..

Positive and honest post.  I personally, until shown otherwise, believe you come from a place of compassion and trying to see the best with each woman. Difficult......as their emotional  pathology is across the board, thus, one can never read accurately. Your fairness, in my eyes, is commendable!  Stay strong and call it like you see it!

I was almost over this show and then i was so delighted to see someone like you appear. You are so comfortable on screen and genuine, its refreshing. Your sweet demeanor is a rarity on the show and SO needed. You and heather are a breath of fresh air. Also on another note about your mother, you were so comfortable and accepting of her choices, so loving and secure about all of it. I could tell you both share a wonderful relationship, it was a joy to watch the two of you shop. I thought, now those are two people i want to hang with bc they are fun!!

Good For you Lydia!  I am so glad you took up for Alexis. These women need to get over themselves and show forgiveness. Gretchen really does need to go back and see how many times Tamara threw her under the bus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and called her a gold digger. You need to watch the previous shows and see what kind of women you are dealing with. Stay true to your beliefs.  Good Luck!! To me Tamara has always been a mean girl!!!!

Thank you for always getting your blog in!! Refreshing to see you encourage Vicki &Tamra to talk it out when you knew Tamra was going to go back to the group & discuss their issues. That is something completely new to the RH world!! I know that your a peace keeper but will stand up for what's right when you need too!!! I give you props for remaining yourself while stepping into that madness! I absolutely love your mom!!!

If you are such a friend of Alexis' why even bring her up at all? You seem a little passive aggressive when it comes to Alexis....you want to defend her but yiu don't want to "alienate" Tamra, Heather or Gretchen.

I hope your experience with these women keeps you positive and grounded. They all have issues, some worse than others, some justified some not. Its life and as you said, no one is perfect! I hope by the end of the season I still see you as a breath of fresh air, and that some of your attitude rubs off on the others!
