Meghan King Edmonds has shared plenty of details about her diet with fans and followers — such as exactly what she eats to stay healthy and comfortable during her twin pregnancy. And now, The Real Housewives of Orange County soon-to-be mom of three is revealing more about what she eats... and exactly what she doesn't want to eat.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, Meghan posted a photo of a container of pancake syrup advertised as "lite," and with "55 percent fewer calories." Purposefully obscuring the brand name with her caption, she wrote, "Pet peeve! Light or low-fat stuff! If I'm eating syrup then give me SYRUP! I don't do it often but when I do I want all the calories! Rant over." And Meghan illustrated her feeling on the matter with a barf-face emoji.
Next, she shared a photo of a yogurt container also billing a "light" product inside and wrote, "OMG, I want the fat too!" (That one earned the red cursing emoji — ouch.)
We get the sentiment: Either you want to eat clean and lean, or you want to allow yourself an occasional indulgence — unmarred by any attempt to turn it into health food.
But it's also nice to have choices — and after all, it's the American way to shop in grocery stories with aisles and aisles of options for every diet whim.
So where do you stand on the topic: Is "lite" a nice option... or a crime against syrup everywhere?
