This Is the Exact Smoothie Recipe Shannon Beador Makes to Maintain Her 24-Pound Weight Loss

Real Housewives of Orange County entrepreneur Shannon Beador is fully committed — and it's paying off.

Shannon Beador has lost 24 pounds — and this time, the The Real Housewives of Orange County mom is vowing she will not get back on the roller coaster. Having recently launched a healthy, prepared food line with QVC, Shannon says she's fully committed to her new body and fitness level, and she credits a particular liquid diet staple for being able to maintain her weight loss without sacrificing tasty treats.  

Shannon recently sat down with The Feast in New York, where she shared exactly what she blends up in a smoothie to keep her feeling satisfied. "After all my walks, I make a protein shake and I put spinach, kale, three strawberries, a small handful of blueberries, and half a banana in it, [plus] ginger juice, lemon juice, and cucumber."

If that sounds like a mixture that could create something more pleasing to the tongue than to the eye, well, Shannon says it is: "It’s kind of a brown, pukey green — but it tastes good and you’re replenishing your body, and it’s not too many calories."

Sounds refreshing (if a bit unsightly) indeed!
