Is the secret to a happy marriage a seriously gorg house? Well, according to Grand Dame Karen Huger it is. The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member gives us a look inside her palatial digs in Great Falls, Maryland — watch the video above to see every last detail. And though the rumor mill has been aswirl about whether or not Karen and husband Ray actually live in the house, Karen looks very much at home in what she calls the “Huger Love Shack.”
So how does the 20-year married couple keep those home fires burning? Let’s take a look. It starts with an uber posh great room in which to kick back and shut off the noise and naysayers of the day. Karen and Ray relax and reconnect in their plush wrap sofa outfitted with sheepskin throw pillows. When it’s time to get romantic move over to the stunning marble fireplace with a little champagne. Karen’s pro tip—always keep a magnum stocked in the bar cart. Who would not want to clink glasses in those totally glam upholstered armchairs, btw?
Karen’s expansive kitchen is outfitted for a gourmet chef, though, as she admits, she doesn’t cook at all—they don’t call her a Grand Dame for nothing. Still, you need a few miles of granite countertop to unpack all that take-out food, right? Watch the full video above to find out what Karen thinks is the most special room in the house!
