Ashley: Robyn Should Stop Deflecting and Insulting Me

Bravotv.com: What do you think about Robyn’s gold-digger-ish comments? 

Ashley Darby: The term Robyn needs to learn is "goal digger." I have standards for myself and the life I aim to lead, consequently I have attracted a partner who shares that vision. Robyn should stop deflecting and insulting me with crass and predictable comments. Be original and think about why you're still defending a man who made it clear he doesn't see a progression in a relationship with you. I guess for Robyn it's better to be someone's security blanket than to be alone. 

Bravotv.com: Why didn’t you tell Robyn about the Juan dating rumors at dinner with her?

AD: That meeting was meant to be about business - how Robyn and I can mutually benefit each other and make some coins. She is working to branch out with her PR business and I'm on a mission to get Oz more involved in the community. I had no intention of discussing personal lives, but it was weighing heavily on me because I know Robyn takes ride or die a little too literally. I tried to gauge how she would take the news by asking where she and Juan are in their relationship. As I suspected she got defensive so I decided our business meeting was not the time or place. 

Bravtov.com: What did you think about Gigi’s comments about your marriage to Michael in the kitchen with Monique?

AD: Who is Gigi? I don't give time or energy to a woman who wants to wear Monique's skin. My husband has money with the charm and charisma to match. 

Bravotv.com: Why did you talk to Gizelle about the rumors at the party? 

AD: It's no secret that Gizelle and Robyn serve as each other's watch dogs, so I thought it'd be wise to get her advice about how to discuss such a sensitive issue. I do not take pleasure in telling people heartbreaking news, especially when kids are involved. Gizelle wasn't of any help in the matter, but I figured it was worth a try. 

Bravotv.com: What were you thinking when Monique came in and confronted Gizelle? 

AD: The barbecue spare ribs weren't the only spicy things in the Samuels' kitchen that night! While I found it entertaining, I was a little taken aback about how quickly the tension elevated between Monique and Gizelle - usually there's a little more nice/nasty involved before it escalates to the "get ta steppin" phase. Monique had time for Gizelle that day, though. But it should be noted that even Gizelle's good friend Erika acknowledged that Madam Green Eyes hated her when they first met. Perhaps these two can make amends too, but I certainly won't hold my breath.
