MON 3.29.10

Breakfast:

1 serving of low fat organic cottage cheese

1 serving frozen organic blueberries

1 serving raw oats

Snack:

1 boiled egg w/ dash of salt

1 gala apple

Lunch:

1 slice whole grain bread and 1 hard boiled egg

Snack:

1 serving fresh blueberries

1 handful of almonds

Dinner:

roasted garden vegetables

fresh spring roles w/o rice paper wrapping

I agree when I read what she ate for lunch I was surprised - that is not enough to keep the body going especially if you are working out.

She's eating 5 small meals a day. A slice of bread and a hard boiled egg is a perfect small meal, eggs are awesome diet food and high protein. Portion size is what's causing most of America to be fat in the first place.

Well Jackie said she didn't want them losing any less than 4 lbs a week! So you'd have to eat extremely low every day. I thought you were supposed to only lose 1-2 lbs a week to have a healthy weight loss so I'm surprised how she came down on some of the contestants for only losing that amount. I'm currently losing and lost 12 lbs the first month. I severely cut my amount of calories per day and still averaged out to 3 lbs a week. She wouldn't have been happy about that and that's CRAZY!

ITA... especially for someone who is supposed to be working out like they are. Some of the days sound really low in calories.

How is some of this healthy? A boiled egg and a piece of bread as dinner? Sliced turkey meat as dinner? Some of these meals make perfect sense and others sound like you are starving yourself!
