Don't Cha Wish Bryan Would Join PCD?

As a writer at least! Read Bryan's reinterpretation of PCD's hit song.

DON'T CHA

Lyrics by Bryan "Pussycat" Donovan

I know you're worried (I know you're worried)

About being alone (about being alone)

But when you're feeling all lonely just pick up the phone

There are others just like you (others just like you)

Feeling lost and confused (feeling lost and confused)

Just kick out your house guests you ain't got nothing to lose.

Don't cha wish your driver was not your chef

Don't cha wish you kinda still worked for Heff

Don't cha, Don't cha

Don't cha wish the mirror was your best friend

Don't cha wish some dates would act like gentlemen

Don't cha, Don't cha

Exposing your goodies (exposing your goodies)

Brings your freak out to play (Brings your freak out to play)

A week of feeling so sexy can really brighten your day

Sometimes the pressure keeps mounting (pressure keeps mounting)

And there's a fork in the road (a fork in the road)

But choosing the right path can really lighten the load

Don't cha wish those herbs did not taste like dirt

Don't cha wish you could finally button up your shirt

Don't cha, Don't cha

Don't cha wish the weight would just melt away

Don't cha wish you it didn't matter what others had to say

Don't cha, Don't cha

You're not getting younger (you're not getting younger)

Your health is in your control (your health is in your control)

Double down while in Vegas, you're on a pretty good roll

Enough with excuses (enough with excuses)

This time there's no turning back (no turning back)

Take control of the wheel and learn how to drive in the sack

Don't cha wish your waistline was tight like his

Don't cha wish that girdle would hide your biz

Don't cha, Don't cha

Don't cha wish you could have a masseuse every day

Don't cha wish you got rewarded for all that naughty play

Don't cha, Don't cha

It pays to have manners (it pays to have manners)

You're not that high in demand (You're not that high in demand)

Only way you'll get lucky is by using your hand

Treat others with kindness (treat others with kindness)

You're not exactly a catch (you're not exactly a catch)

A few more trips to the psych couch, you might just find your match

Don't cha wish your humor had a touch of heart

Don't cha wish that girls didn't find you quite the tart

Don't cha, Don't cha

Don't cha wish you had someone to hold you tight

Don't cha wish you're humor had half the bite

Don't cha, Don't cha

You finally made it (You finally made it)

Won a prize on your own (Won a prize on your own)

It pays to be daring outside your own comfort zone

Now others take notice (others take notice)

She's not in this alone (She's not in this alone)

Support those that surround you, even if they just moan

Don't cha wish you started a few weeks ago

Don't cha wish you didn't have to look at Joe

Don't cha, don't cha?

Don't cha wish that cankles was not a word

Don't cha wish you could just flip Joe the bird?

Don't cha, don't cha?

You finally joined us (finally joined us)

Congrats are in order to you (congrats are in order to you)

Now just stick with the program there is so much you can do.

It keeps getting harder (It keeps getting harder)

Every day contains stress (Every day contains stress)

Keep up all the hard work, Jackie expects nothing less.

Don't cha wish that Jackie would not ambush you

Don't cha wish you she'd pick on other people, too

Don't cha, Don't cha

Don't cha wish that water could taste like wine

Don't cha wish you knew where to draw that line

Don't cha, Don't cha

It takes plenty of false starts (plenty of false starts)

To finally commit to a plan (commit to a plan)

But it's truly worth it, if you just take a stand

One foot in front of the other (in front of the other)

Baby steps to begin (baby steps to begin)

It's not an overnight process but you're in it to win.

Don't cha wish you never had gained this weight

Don't cha wish you could just wipe clean that slate

Don't cha, Don't cha

Don't cha wish your waistline would shrink by ten

Don't cha wish you these lyrics would finally end

Don't cha, I mean seriously, don't cha?

Just the Beginning

Stacy is taking what she's learned and incorporating it into her everyday life.

After all the crying, heavy breathing, vodka tonics, and naked trainers, our Thintervention is now complete. Bryan, Mandy, and I were talking at the finale about how this is really just the beginning for us. This is our chance to start clean and fresh, and the best part was that we did this for ourselves.

The six weeks away from Jackie made me push myself harder than I ever thought was possible. I think one of the best things that came out of this process for me was that I became my own trainer. I took the advice from Jackie and Craig and used it every time I step foot into a gym, a restaurant with friends, or when stress might try to get the best of me. I always like to think that I have a mini Dr. Ramani with me when I go out to eat. She has become my talisman for sane eating because of her no-nonsense attitude and well-grounded advice.

I really have learned that life is all about balance. You won't gain back all the weight if you don't make it to the gym everyday. A cookie does not a fatty make! It's when it becomes ten cookies and two weeks without going to the gym that the imbalance shows on the scale. It's more important to get to the root of why you are choosing to eat the way that you are. If you are suppressing something or trying to medicate yourself in some way. I like to think about it as if I'm a car; I won't fill the car with more gas then I need, nor will I use cheap gas that will make me stop somewhere else to fill up again.

I'm not saying I've got a complete handle on this yet, even though I have surpassed my goal weight. I still have times where I have to pre-plan my days so I don't go hours without eating, I have to keep a watchful eye on when I decide to have a cheat meal, and I keep a strong support system around me at all times. Especially when I get that reoccurring nightmare of me looking like Eric Cartmen dressing up like Jabba the Hut trying to grab a microphone stand. You've never had a nightmare like that? Just me?

I feel so incredibly blessed to have been a part of this process, and I will be forever grateful. Bryan and Miguel are two of the sweetest people I have ever met, and they make the best workout buddies anyone could ask for.

I've decided that Mandy is like sunshine; no matter how you are feeling, she will be there to brighten your day. She and her family are so loving, and I hope that I will be lucky enough to follow her example. I thank her for being a pillar of support and always being a phone call away.

Lastly we come to my husband Craig Ramsay. He helped me so much throughout the six weeks we were away from Jackie, and I owe a huge amount of my success to him. He never gave up on me, and he was the only one of Jackie's team that sat me down and asked me questions about PCOS and what we were going to do to fight it. I don't know what I would do without him sticking by me in the gym, and I look forward to seeing you all in the spring for our Broadway themed wedding.

I thank you all for coming on this journey with me, and I'm so glad you liked the show!
