Sandi, You are so pttery. I'm gonna say you are a fighter and I admire you for that. I do know that you have your days but that did not stop you. Gabi as well is such a fighter too. Happy Holidays and keep fighting. ***HUGS***

I absolutely love this show. Thank you for all the great tips. Unlike other weight-loss shows, this one helps us understand some of the pit-falls and secrets to success.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the show. Won't miss it! i can relate to these guys. they're not Biggest loser Fat; like me, 50 lbs. or less...

i am following some of the tips you gave them, like getting rid of all the sugar, and actually learning so much about working out, it's a great show. i feel like i'm working out with these guys.

I find i have a little bit of Nicky and Jeena in me, however, they are the most identifiable characters, because like nicky, i love to cocktails, White wine and Margaritas. And like jeena, i lack motivation. I wish i had a Jackie in my life to just pop up right before i swigged that 16 0z frozen mango Margarita!

I am still struggling to lose the last 20 lbs and i know now that i have to kick up my exercise routine, and DROP the after work cocktails. I'm trying an alcohol free week, with the same routine, just to see how much of a difference it makes.

I wish i could be in your next season, but it also seems you need to be "PAID AND PAID AND PAID! :)

thanks for making a show that's relateable to a large population.

Regards from NYC! Evey1333

Jackie-love the new show. (but really hate Joe)

on the topic of booze...what's your advice on a limit for drinks. When I go out with friends/coworkers to our favorite dive, I tend to have a minimum of 6 or more drinks. It seems the only way for me to cut down on my alcohol intake is to avoid going out altogether. It's nearly impossible to find a happy medium (for me).

First of all I am a very conscious person when it comes to doing my part in being enviromentally freindly ect.. However, I did not know shark or seahorses for that matter were endangered. So maybe instead of attacking you should inform and educated because it's almost impossible to know everything when it comes to what is or isn't going to be globally conscious.

I have followed your show from the beggining and love what your doing I've always been a healthy eater and exercised but i'm just coming off 2 surgeries and i've realized stomach surgery is not the easiest to lose weight from. With that said I love eating fruits and veggies, there is a new product out called fruit 2 day it says its all natural and list ingredients as being all fruit puree and juices. Is it a healthy snack?

Dear Jackie,

I have the utmost respect for you and very much appreciate what you’re doing vis-à-vis showing the connection between exercising and losing weight and have been following your episodes from the beginning. Tonight, however, I was shocked by your visit to the Chinese herbalist. I am all for herbs, but to see multitudes of dried seahorses and shark fins in jars when both seahorses and sharks are endangered was extremely upsetting. Frankly, I was repulsed. I’m aware that these “ingredients” are used in some traditional Chinese medical approaches, but because sharks and seahorses are now endangered, their use in traditional Chinese medicine needs to be reconsidered. Sharks are being slaughtered just for their fins. Shark finning is barbaric. They line hook a shark and amputate the fins while the shark is alive and conscious. Then they release the shark back to the ocean where it flounders for hours or even days before bleeding to death or drowning. 2008 records indicate that 100 million sharks a year are killed annually for their fins.

In 2010, with more and more people becoming environmentally and globally conscious, to show dried shark fins and dried seahorses and to imply that these “ingredients’ are suitable for medical purposes is reckless. At the very least, Bravo is showing its complete disregard for the plight of these species and I think it’s shameful.
