As this is my first blog writing experience, I hope it meets all the readers' expectations! First and foremost I would like to thank all of my family, friends and coworkers who have shown an incredible amount of support over the past few months. I couldn't have done it without all of you. Last night my friends organized a huge viewing party at our favorite local wine bar in the city. I could not be happier with the end product - Tim and Gretta are absolutely amazing! Working with them to improve my image was an experience that I will never forget. The entire week they made me feel like a princess, and although I may have had a little resistance to some of the changes at first, I do believe that I have come around to most of their suggestions...finally.

I would say the first day of filming was the toughest. When Tim and Gretta picked apart my closet, I was very surprised to hear their comments (although I will admit that I see where they are coming from now!) However I think it would be hard for anyone to hear that kind of criticism, whether you are on national television or shopping with your best friend.

My favorite experience of the show was taking the trip to Alvin Valley's Studio. Alvin has such a kind demeanor - he has an amazing talent for fashion, and is extremely generous. I have worn the "one-of-a-kind" dress three times already! I never realized how important it is to have clothes that fit properly, and I also never realized how poorly my clothes were fitting. Thanks to this experience, I have taken many of my pieces to the tailor and have added them to my fabulous new wardrobe. I am sure many of you out there have the same problem that I do, which is finding pants that fit at the hips and at the waist. Tim and Gretta finally solved this problem for me! I know tailoring is a pretty obvious solution, but sometimes it is hard to see the answer on your own. Sometimes we all just need a little help.

To be perfectly honest, I have not kept up the makeup routine for the daytime, although I do wear it when I am out on the town in the evenings. I am very proud to say that I have kept up the haircut and will continue to do so. The cut is by far the BEST haircut I have ever had.

Participating in the show was quite possibly the most memorable experience of my life. I am so appreciative of everyone who took time of their busy schedules to help me through this journey. Tim and Gretta, I owe you the world! The cast and crew, you guys are wonderful, keep up the hard work. I hope everyone enjoyed the show and I am sure there are more great episodes to come!
