Each week, sous chefs will battle to earn their masters either immunity or potentially devastating disadvantages for the next on-air competition.
Love Bravo TV shows but this is the poorest excuse for a web site it really sucks, Didn't really expect that from Bravo. It has taken me about 20 min to finally get the show I want to watch (after being directed to other episodes and loud as hell commercials)
to finally cue up to only find out I have to watch it with bars on top and bottom....Wierd
And could you please have a different commercial once in a while? It was cute the first couple of times, but now I cringe when I see it.
I dont know why it never loads the right video! It's loading a video from two weeks ago claiming it's the episode 8 and now I will have to watch the commercial a zillion times just to find out that the wrong video loaded again. Frustrating and it doesn't make me want to watch this!
I was spoiled! So wrong, somebody made a mistake. I watch the battle of the sous chefs on demand with xfinity and they're airing NEXT weeks battle! Ugh, I'm a glutton for punishment because I didn't turn it off when I noticed the mistake so now I and everyone else who watches that way know the outcome of the next episode of Top Chef Masters!. Not cool.
YAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so happy for Bryan!!!!!!!!!!!! Marylander Proud!!!!!!! Whoop!!!! Redemption!!!!! You can do it!!!!!!!!! Take it home!!!! GO VOLT!!!!!
YAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so happy for Bryan!!!!!!!!!!!! Marylander Proud!!!!!!! Whoop!!!! Redemption!!!!! You can do it!!!!!!!!!
Bryan is the best! Humble, creative, and his food is phenomenal. He deserves to win! Love Team Voltaggio!
Just a question for the Bravo crew: can we please get some captions for the hearing impaired? As a deaf man, it's hard for me to understand most of what's being said, and I love the show (which is captioned).
We have been voting for teams since day one. Why didn't team Keane get eliminated when Drew couldn't continue? Doesn't seem fair to the other sous chefs and masters. I realize it is Top Chef Masters, but everything has hinged on the sous chefs up to this point. I don't think if the master had to leave you would have allowed the sous chef to continue.
I think it's great how David and Chris get along, and Doug and well, anyone who works for him gets along. Some chefs can be so arrogant and rude. (Cough, Sang, cough cough).
The editing crew on this show is TOPS! The way the camera went from beercheer group in the kitchen to the beercheer group in the Dining area, awaiting on their (Curtis and music exec) decision was pretty cool. I always wondered, does Curtis memorize, read or how he is able to describe what the MCs have cooked to Gail and others. The Editing crew did it again, very subtly with camera crew help of course he reads a card that's on the table. How simple is that but when your a fan its nice to see little details like the ones mentioned finally explain a burning thought.
bubbe, are you crazy, Hugh is a riot and excellent chef!! Your showing you lack of foodie knowledge!!
It's amazing to me that Hugh is the host. He was the first one to be kicked off when he appeared on the show,...and I don't think that he should have been brought back. When you lose, you lose. Maybe Top Chef Master couldn't get anyone else.
I'd like a simple list of Chefs and their Sous to use as my scorecard. I make scorecards for every season of this kind of show. I even watch Project Runway, still - but Bravo did it better (Lifetime does not usually have reunions at the end of a season).
SOO Glad that Interior Therapy is back; Jeff and Jenny seem more insightful in personal relations than many real therapists!
Go Ted Hopson....while everyone looked stressed and hurried, he was calm and cool and got the job done!
excellent! i LOVE the twist. sous chefs paving the road for the chefs.... very realistic and a good test of the chef's teams.... i'm excited. go david!
Fantastic start to the season! Love the sous chef twist and am really enjoying this group of chefs. Very much looking forward to this season!
Ted Hopson won for cool, calm professional demenor, creative presentation with his more complex diversified dish. the other person had a seared scallop what?
Glad I don't have to jump out of a plane. I would have took the drive too! No heights for me! NADDA! :)
Bryan Voltaggio's sous chef Graeme is uber talented. I've had his food at Volt many times and dined in the chef's kitchen at Volt while Bryan was off filming Top Chef. He was awesome at running the kitchen (and come on, he's got a mohawk). Total badass.
Wow...this season is going to be fantastic!!! My front runner is David Burke, but his Sous Chef messed up in the first Battle of the Sous Chefs. Chef David is a Top Chef Master and I think he will be just fine.
@Jewyl What I really hate about the ad is that (a) the French is so bad; and (b) there's not volume control for it, and it's very loud.
@Jewyl Stupid Lexus probably only made that one commercial. Now whenever I see it, be it here or on TV, I race for the mute button.
@phongpei Jorel. As in Superman's father.
@That_Baker_Guy You should Tweet Bravo and Top Chef. They seem to read them.
@bubbe7439 Hugh is a terrific chef. Time restraints and challenges have done in many a terrific chef on these shows. But, he's also got a terrific quick wit and is a lot of fun. He's an outstanding host.
@bubbe7439 I agree... in fact he had a second chance, and still didn't do well.
I agree, and so do the dogs!!! Remember to vote for your favorite team... and hopefully that's our guy DOUGLAS KEANE!!! :)
we reinstalled java and it worked
Whoa, going to be crazy exciting!
