Get the Party Started!

Use these tips and games to turn your viewing party into a bash that’s fit for the chefs in Sin City…

Cookie Poker
Bake or buy a large batch of miniature chocolate chip cookies. Then after each episode of Top Chef: Las Vegas, challenge your guests to a round of poker—with cookies as the chips. NOTE: A clean plastic tablecloth and utensils (or rubber gloves?) for moving the cookies may make the winners’ cookies more enticing for consumption after the game ends.
Everybody in the Pool
Prepare your best recipe. Then have party guests vote for an episode winner before the show airs. The person who gets it right wins your special culinary creation. Be sure to cook something that can be split many ways in case there’s a tie. Or a generous winner.
Top Chef or Die
Ask party guests to form a circle and, moving clockwise, ask each person to roll a die. The person who rolls has to name a contestant on the season of Top Chef that matches the number on the die. If the name is wrong, that person is out of the game. The last high roller wins.
Get Pot-Lucky
Invite each partygoer to bring a home-cooked dish. At the end of the night, ask them to vote for their favorite. Give the winner the title of Top Chef Master, and upload a photo of the winning dish here (along with other party photos) for all Top Chef Masters fans to see.
Got Skills?
Challenge your guests to a Quickfire Challenge that will test their culinary imagination. Give them random ingredients (pre-chopped, so no one gets hurt) and see how fast they can make an original salad, create a tempting dessert, put together an appetizer, etc. Time them and taste the results to name your winner!
Taste Test
A classic Top Chef foodie challenge: Blindfold each guest and ask them to taste two versions of one ingredient—one high quality, one lower quality. See if they can identify the more expensive one. At the end of the night, the guest with the most correct answers gets to take home the remaining high-quality ingredients. (The person with the lowest score gets stuck with the low-quality ingredients.)
