For her diminutive stature, chef Giada De Laurentiis has lots of very big things in the pipeline. Recently, she spilled some news that she's got plans for a fast-casual pasta restaurant chain. And she's just broken some additional, more specific news that will excite foodies and jet setters alike: The chef is opening another restaurant in Las Vegas.
This week, she announced that her newest restaurant concept, Pronto by Giada, is set to open at Caesars Palace early next year. This will be her second outpost on the Strip — Giada at the Cromwell preceded it, and has found much success in the three years since it's opening.
Pronto, as you might expect, will be all about the chef's signature Italian fare with California influences... but offered in a fast-casual format. It will be located next to to the Bacchanal Buffet and Mr Chow, and will offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner options, prepared in an abbreviated time — perfect if you're running to catch a flight, or trying to soak up the booze after an all-night bender.
Guests get their grub, and can eat at the counter or bar, or lounge (nod off, perhaps?) casually. And yes, there will be a "coffee program," plus wine on tap and a full-service bar with signature cocktails. So no matter the time of day, or the state you're in... you're covered.
Buon appetito and saluti!
