What I also found fascinating was the debate over how cooked Carla's squab was. After speaking with Jacques Pepin (Did I mention that?), he spoke about the doneness of duck, and he likes his pretty well cooked. However, any good foodie knows you never order duck more well-done than medium rare. But you know what? I hate it medium rare, so now I'm going to order it medium or well-done, and not feel bad about it! If it's good enough for Jacques Pepin, it's good enough for me.

OK, so onto the comments about the new site. Basically, we're working as fast as we can to get all of the old content we had back on the site, and we're not ignoring any of your concerns. When you do leave a comment about something you notice please tell us in real detail what your'e seeing, what browser version you're in, and what operating system you're using. We really, really appreciate your patience, and I know that the site will be so much easier to navigate very shortly.

This was my first time watching Top Chef and I have to say I was crying too. This show has succeeded in encapsulating in 30 minutes almost everything that is wrong with our culture. I was initially enamored with the premise of young chefs cooking for such food icons as Jacques Pepin and Lydia but the subsequent trashing of their preparations followed by public execution brought me to tears.

I want to find everyone who was thrown off this show and make them a big cup of tea and some buttery toast.

Though I have enjoyed Bravo's programming in the past I am sad to see them serving up a big pot of meanness.

The decision to kick Fabio off was ridiculous. This show is a sham and clearly the best chefs were not kept. Hosea is retarded and can't even talk right!

what in the world! I feel cheated. It was retarded to let Fabio go just because it didn't have enough heat. And how unfair is it to let Jeff come back when you let that stupid hoe make out with Hosea and stay a couple of episodes too many. All Hosea ever talks about is cooking fish when he really belongs at Long John Silvers!

Thanks for nothing. You guys have lost integrity with me...Fabio and Stephan were the best contestants
