This Instagram Indulges a Lust Trifecta: Travel, Dessert, and Shoes

It's SFW porn that might result in impulsive travel booking.

If the new sausage vending machine didn’t make you want to drop everything and head to Paris, maybe this culinary inspiration will push you over the edge too book that flight — stat.

Paris-based pastry chef and graphic designer Tal Spiegel has created a drool-worthy Instagram feed that showcases both impeccable French desserts… and shoes to match.

The feed is called Desserted in Paris, and each post focuses on a color-coordinated one-two punch of pretty confectionary positioned above matching shoes on Spiegel’s own feet.

"I have always photographed pastries, especially the ones I made," the brainchild behind the feed told Mashable

He told Mashable he found special inspiration in the city’s wide variety of desserts: ”When I came to Paris to study pâtisserie, I was overwhelmed by the variety of pastries this city has to offer. I started doing pastry exploring whenever I had a day off school and taking photos and tasting."

Spiegel’s feed mainly focuses on sweets created by other chefs — not his own work. And he carefully labels each source so culinary tourists can easily trace a particular favorite — and pay a visit.

Oh, and what's the significance of those shoes, which add the special je ne sais quoi to every photo? Well, he just likes them, basically. He told Mashable he personally owns every last shoe featured on the feed. He estimates his collection at around 70 pairs… and admits they clog his Paris apartment!
