I am glad Kristen won. Whatever made Brooke think that chicken was a creative, high end dish is beyond me.

I think it was sketchy @tomcolicchio verdict wasn't aired. Considering that his judging, to be kind has been flawed and uneven made this all the more important to why Kristen was picked & not #ChefLizzie.
And I forgot to mention that every judge sitting at the dinner table liked Brooke's dessert but Tom,that should tell you something!
I think there ought to be a way to improve the show so that frauds like Josie do not skate through.
There should be some kind of 3 strike and your out rule. Meaning if you are on the chopping block 3 times, you are automatically eliminated. Something like that.
Perhaps 3 is too small a number. Perhaps make it 5 times.
When you are someone like Josie, and you are the losing team or chopping block 5 times, I think it is rather obvious that you are theeee problem, and you certainly do not have what it takes to be classified as "TOP CHEF."
Something needs to be done in order ensure a loudmouth talentless line cook does not skate through.
I wish they came up with this "Last Chance Kitchen" idea from the start of "Top Chef". There would have been some very different results, if this idea was implemented from the start.
Stefan is definitely the fan favorite this season, no one else comes close if the results are accurate. He deserves it too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is no doubt that Kristen is an excellent chef, but in the future I feel the producers need to make a change. Tom should not be allowed to be the ony judge of this process as BIAS enters the equation. To avoid speculation all the judges should alternate through last chance kitchen to judge! Lets do this fairly and in a way that no one can think that bias or favortism was involved in the final decision. Personally Kristen was a strong contender, but out of everyone their were others who were better and more experienced than her. I does not matter because she will not win this competition....WATCH!

I want Kristen to be the finale winner. Not only do I believe she has what it takes, but she has been extremely grateful for everything she's won and winning would be the opportunity for her to start her own restaurant.

I don't expect someone with such a small mind to understand this, but, I will try to steer you out of the weeds into a healthier frame of mind and understanding.
You see, It's YOU who is obsessed with Padma...of all the things to discuss about Top Chef, a cooking show...what do you focus on?...PADMA! She is on screen for about three minutes total...It should be easy to ignore her short appearances...at least for those with a healthy mind. Many people don't care for her but they just overlook and dismiss her and move on.
I cannot stand that .........., ............, Anthony Bordain, but I ignore him and enjoy the rest of the program; why should I let a self absorbed clown like Bordain take away from a good show??
I just do not like a liar or a gossip who puts out bad information to support their narrow minded jealousy and enviousness. When I was a kid those types were known as trouble makers...
In conclusion: Padma Lakshmi will be on Top Chef for as long as she and the producers want her to be, so if there is any dealing to be done, I think it is you! Bye-Bye!!

If you watch that episode again...this time with an open mind...You will notice that she shares that same (...." you see, thats not the same thing." ) reaction with other judges!!
PS How many books have you sold???? How many TV shows have you hosted or been the main subject of...Padma Lakshmi has a show on the Food Channel if anyone wants to deal in the adult world.

MarkW@76 well, I have always found her very boring. Just the way she speaks is so controlled, like she is trying to be so sophisticated. Maybe that is just her personality, kind of reserved, not much energy. Unlike Tom! He is much more energetic, a better communicator and just more engaging.

MarkW@76 I actually noticed that too. Padma really seems to dislike Kristen but she did say she liked her dessert(haha curry and chocolate, thought it was the "Indian" in her that liked it.)
But Padma has been extra aggressive towards Kristen. Maybe cuz Kristen used to be a model too and Padma was also a model before?

I jotted down the total of Padma's statements (which didn't come until after the cooking was done and they were at Judges Table!!)...She didn't say anything until Kristen's SECOND course...Lakshmi said, "The lemon curd was a bit harsh for me...."I like the flavors of chocolate and curry together."
Her next comment came after they went around the table again and then Padma said, ""So,Kristen, Your second course was tuna, how did that come out?""
FYI: This part of the show is called "Judges Table" where the chefs go before a panel where they are critiqued by four other chefs...Padma Lakshmi is one of those judges!!! She never knocked Kristen's cooking!! All she said was that the curd was a bit too harsh...That's hardly a knock on anyone's cooking!!!
Is Padma a diva...Yes. Can she be abrupt? Yes. Can Tom Calichio be abrupt? Yes. Can Bourdain be anal? Yes, in spades! Most successful Chefs are prima donnas. Why do people like you always have to make things up about woman with looks????
