I cancelled my cable plan after seeing this debacle.  Nina is the hands-down winner.  I couldn't care less what Mr.  Underseasoning does for the rest of his puerile life.

I am so disappointed with Top Chef....Nina should have won! I recall Nick was on the bottom and should have been eliminated on several occasions.....I don't think I am going to watch anymore! I am extremely disappointed and will tell folks to stop watching - the show is political and not based on skills!!

Nina was robbed!  Nick has been criticized ALL season for his lack of seasoning and again in the finale, but yet he wins.  Really?  So Top Chef wants Nick to represent them - someone who throws tantrums like a baby and is abusive to fellow chefs and servers, and ...?  Disappointed in the judges.

Nick was always in the bottom all season and yet takes top chef. I just do not think I will watch next season. this is very disappointing

I agree NINA should of won. I believe the decision was political. Nick's entire season was seasoning and one judge comment was a dish needed salt. Anyother elimination challenge in 10 seasons would of sent him home. Louise and Nina shoiuld of been the 2 at the finale. each time nick won, I was frustrated after each of the judges comments. True I did not taste the dishes but when you have the panel of well known judges over 11 seasons. It has to be political.  I agree a hot temper and language in the kitchen is NOT a top chef.

Nina should of won or at least be named as Top Chef as well. Why can't there be 2 top chefs for a season.

I am so disappointed in TOP CHEF . Nina won. For we watched Nick he lost about two shows back he never should have been in the finally at all . This was so not right . NINA please know that we all know who who should have won TOP CHEF and it was not NICK .

As other viewers have stated below, Nina was ROBBED!  I am very disappointed with the outcome of this season. Nina was strong from the beginning and she earned the right to be in the finale.  She deserved the title of Top Chef although the judges didn't agree.  Nina competed with grace and dignity, but I can't say the same for Nick.  He showed himself to be rude and a jerk at times, with a very hot temper.  Not qualities that exemplify a Top Chef. I lost what little respect I had for Nick the night he threw his team under the bus and allowed Stephanie to go home for his errors.  I don't watch very much TV; however I watched faithfully every season. Top Chef was my favorite show and I WAS a dedicated fan - but I'm not so sure anymore.   Good bye Top Chef -  Hello Chopped and Cutthroat Kitchen!

This is the first time that a TV show will be a subject for my blog.  I simply could not believe Nick "No Salt", Temper Tantrum, Throw your teammate under the bus because you have immunity won!  It's an outrage.

I realize "taste a vision" has not been invented yet but we could hear the judges comments.  Once again, no salt, tough duck and we certainly heard and saw the shocked faces of guests at the outbursts emanating from the kitchen.  Of course Nick doesn't care what we think.  He has the kudos, the cash and the exposure.  We can only hope that Nina will be rewarded in some way for her talent, her creativity, her dedication to her craft and to her class.  She proved to be a winner in all respects.

The fact Nick won is ridiculous and disappointing. Nina was clearly the best chef all season long, but a chef that can't add salt to a dish, apparently due to his sensitive palate wins. That makes a lot of sense. I've been a loyal fan of the show for all 11 seasons, but have no interest in watching after this season. The fact Nick remained in the show after the Stephanie episode, and after being in the bottom 4 times in a row, and made it to the finale baffles me. Every other chef this season was better than him, including Shirley, Carlos and Louis. What's the point of having a judges table when Tom picks his favorite to win?

THE most disappointing season finale ever!!!  Honestly not sure if I can watch this show again.

Oh my goodness!  I too just wanted to "yell" about this finale!

They should have gotten rid of "Nicky baby" weeks ago!  He reminds me of a young, fit throwing child!

He has gone against every thing RIGHT the whole season.

And maybe we should hook him up with John Bahner (not sure of the spelling)!  They could cry together!

And like someone else said, I am not sure I want to watch next season!

Nina...hats off to you!  What a classy lady!  Good luck to you. (You could teach that fat pregnant old girl how to tuck her fat boobs in her dress!)

One more season over....

I have never been more disappointed in the finale of this show. There is no doubt that Nina should have won. She was excelled this entire season. Nick should have gone home a long time ago. Even the judges admitted that Nick should have gone home and the only reason he didn't is because he had immunity and he wasn't man enough to take himself out and instead sent Stephanie packing. Makes me think twice before watching this show again. Nina, you're a classy lady! If you ever see this - I wish you the best. You're a great chef and an even greater person.

Viewers can only judge what they see based on the show's content (yes, we can't taste the food) but there is no doubt that someone (Tom?) on that panel wanted Nick to win. Think back viewers, how many times has grumpy Tom bashed contestants for lack of seasoning? How many times has he been appalled at bad service? How many times did we see Nick with the "no seasoning" comment this season? Far too many, yet other chefs were canned and he stayed. Padma even said it....are we allowing someone to go to the Finale who cant season their food? I'm sure Nick is a great Chef, but no way should he have been Top Chef. Bad call judges. I'm done with Top Chef.

I love Top Chef, one of my favorite shows, but I was EXTREMELY disappointed with the results. Nina was the clear winner to me. She was consistent throughout the entire season, whereas Nick was constantly on the bottom. So very DISAPPOINTED Bravo. Nina was ROBBED.

I'm amazed that people are surprised by the finale...

Nick Elmi already has a very successful  and acclaimed restaurant. Besides he was the only one that created a character that peaked at the right time.

HIs last tasting menu also was a perfect crescendo that ended in a perfect note.

Great TV!

I don't know if BRAVO actually read these blogs, but I only signed up on this to make my opinion known to BRAVO and the "judges"  it was the most disappointing finale ever!   Nina was totally robbed and if there was indeed a "tie" or thinking it was too close to call... then NINA should have won by her past performance and awarding the HOT TMPERED Nick who has been on the bottom almost every performane... this title was truly an injustice!   SHAME BRAVO....shame!  :-(

It should have been between Shirley and Nina....

I was very disappointed at the outcome of the finale!  I thought Nina was clearly the winner and was happy she at least won fan favorite!!  She surpassed him all season with her consistency in the kitchen.  Too be sure when it came to a tie, that would have come into play.  And, with Nick screaming and cursing at the staff with the entire restaurant full, you would have thought the judges would have also taken that into consideration!  Just really disappointed in this season!!

Since you did not print my first blog, let me try to be a little more tactful. Tom is the reason Nina did not win.He has a dominating voice and his co-coworkers do not want  to go against him. Clearly Nina won, she dominated all season.

Nina me and you were both numb. My heart sunk and I couldn't believe it. You were literally robbed, and I will always believe that and there is nothing these judges could tell me. I pray one day I get a chance to taste your food personally. You are a role model, and you did everything with grace and class.

I have truly lost a lot of respect for this show, given this finale debacle.  The name of the show is "TOP Chef" not "Most Improved Chef”.  The fact that they opted to give victory to a Chef who has been inconsistent the entire season, would otherwise have been eliminated if it weren't for immunity over a Chef who has been consistent the entire season, makes me truly wonder what ridiculous criteria is used in deciding a winner, especially when the finale performance was neck and neck.  What were they going the for the "underdog angle"?...just been hit with the reality that this is ultimately a t.v. SHOW and not a true competition.

In the real world, if you go to restaurant the one where the food is consistently good stays in business and wins patrons, not the one who's good some days and off others but has the potential to be great.

You disappoint me Top Chef, you've lost my respect and potentially my contribution to your future ratings.

@kevstar:  You see, I saw it differently.  I felt Nina won the first course, both of them won the second course, and Nick won the third and fourth courses.  That leaves Nick with two winning dishes and Nina with only one winning dish.  Nick deserved to win.

No way in the world Nina won that hands down how in the world did Nick win after he blew up at the workers and Nina food and performance was excellent.  Her food won hands down no way that was a mistake on the judges they need to be on Top Chef and judged on their food Tom is one of them. I can't believe they did that OMG!!!!!!!!

Are you kidding me judges?  I'm absolutely floored by this finale.  There's no way around it:  Nina was robbed.  As if it needs to be reiterated, Nina thoroughly dominated the entire season and even delivered two delightful extra courses in the finale that went above and beyond the scope of the challenge. In sharp contrast, Nick was at the bottom constantly, struggled to stay in the competition, would have been eliminated if he hadn't had immunity, and worst of all, he screamed at his servers and caused a disruption that the guests could hear.  If it was truly a 2-2 tie, then the only fair thing would have been to tip it in Nina's favor due to her far smoother and more professional service, her season-long consistency and the unanimously enjoyed extra bites she contributed.  I have never disagreed with a finale decision more, and I am not sure I will continue watching the show due to this outrageous injustice.  The most talented chef should win, and that did not happen tonight.  This is how you lose fans, Top Chef.

One of the most disappointing finale's that I have seen. It is just absolutely wrong that Nina lost, she had the better menu, execution, and season.

Did not like finale result for season 11!

@dog-runner1 I have to agree.  I'll watched Chopped in lieu of Top Chef.  At least they compare all the plates the contestants have made during the competition.  That seems much more just than this method of overlooking bad food and bad behavior because one contestant made a dessert instead of a "bite".

@ignacioeverardo.ortiz  is this a relative of that poor sport Nick. Some of his antics were deplorable. I think you probably could see that too. Top Chef is not my favourite cooking show any longer. It has no integrity.

@nanwoz55 I signed up for the same reason, just to show my disgust for this season.  It will probably be the last season that I watch.
