Eli Kirshtein explains why the Ellis Island challenge was a great opportunity for the chefs.

With the finals coming on the pressure is really on. The game changes and so does the mind set of all of the chefs. You are afforded the opportunity to go home and rest for a few weeks before traveling to the finals. This is when chefs will hone their mind and skill set. Knowing that, they will be competing in the Bahamas also allows them to focus and study on the cuisine and ingredients of the region. After seeing the preview, I am really excited to see what happens. There are guaranteed to be some twists and turns.
