Great to hear your take on the episode chef; always a pleasure to see you on the show. Hopefully you will be a more frequent guest on the next season, I'd like to see another challege at Le Bernadin if possible on a future season
Eric- you are great. Thanks for the comments, and I hope you continue to be on the show itself more and more in future seasons!
I noticed that the 5 of you were really squished into that little booth. It made me laugh, because that is a common situation when you're on vaction and have to squeeze into a booth at a casual restaurant with your friends or family. Good thing you guys like each other!
You guys were great with the Junk--- royalty - very gracious and all. Eric Ripert - great to hear your comments. I think Blaise should win, but ... we'll see. Great episode. But would have been greater if angelo and dale and tiffany faison were there.
Why is there always a comment that there is no transcript provided? There is always a written transcript if you click next. It starts on page two.
I think the Producers really did the chefs a disservice by having them work in an unsafe kitchen. I'm glad no one was injured. The fire really messed with their confidence.
I did love the quickfire and wish the edit had shown more of the action.
I am disappointed that this web site limits video content to viewers in North America. Top Chef is broadcast by AXN in the Asia Pacific region so why is content limited for us on the web?
Anyway, Eric Ripert's comments are always great to listen to. I think he makes for a knowledgeable, honest and charismatic judge. The decision to let Carla go, unfortunate as all elimination decisions are at this point in the game, was the correct one. I do wish Carla all the best; she survived (all to her credit) when stronger chefs fell.
Good luck Carla, hope the cookies are a massive hit :)
