I have a comment about the judges. Who is this Kathie Lee and when did she graduate from Culinary school? Just being a pal of Paul Deen or a former Top Chef host is no qualification for judging. You need to spice up the judging with some chefs from other cooking shows like Iron Chef, now those are real chefs and would be fun to see them doing the judging. Please change the lineup its getting boring.

This show needs to stop making these chefs work in teams every show. Its ok once in a while but geeze how can they showcase their talents when they have to be part of a team in every epidsode?

Gail, I would like for you and the rest of the judges serve as chefs sometime. I think the ridiculous situations that add to the difficulties for the chefs to prepare their meals in their very limited time allotments is terrible. It does not make for interesting television, it creates frustration and how to destroy the chefs otherwise good efforst. For you, Tom and the rest to have ignored Jamie's refusal to present her food forced out Spike unfairly.

While I have not tasted any of the chef's food, I have watched every show and I am convinced that Jennifer is a superior chef. I have yet heard Jamie described as a superior chef.

BTW, several of my friends and I consider you judges to be just a bit too smug and arrogant. You are not the stars of the show. The chefs and the show have outgrown you judges, but you have ignored the cues. Hope you consider some of what I have said here.

Gail if you can't blog (2 weeks in a row) you should not be a judge.

Gail,

Your judgment on tastes is always right on the nose.
