Padma, you are NOT a judge but just a JEALOUS host!!

You don't have the culinary background or knowledge to impart your opinion on every little matter.  You don't have a say in who stays or who goes.  When it comes to the judges table, keep your jealous opinions to yourself and act professionally.

Kristen has WAAY more class than you'll ever have.

I hope you know that you just ruined this season's top chef.  I don't know if I'll be back.

WOW, I am in total agreement with everyone else! What a travesty that Kristen was told to pack up........I picked her as the winner, for this season!! There are no words fit to print about Jose, yuck! The other chef's that are remaining, can not hold a kitchen knife to Kristen. Padma, you should just stick to the hosting duties, and let the Professional Chef's do the judging.

Why was Padma so pro Josie?I really feel she was biased. Josie blew it week after week, she was not very honorable and definitely not a team player. Shame on you Padma-she should have gone instead of Kristen and it was a no brainer this week!

I am absolutely livid about Kristen getting booted.  What was Padma's problem with her?  I am absolutely shaking about this.  Jose is a horrible chef, person, team mate, I could go on and on.  She has SKATED through this competition.  Padma seemed absolutely gleeful to make everyone think Jose was going home then said she was safe with a big smile and told Kristen to pack her knives.  I'm sorry but that was just plan bitchy!  Obviously she has final say on the show because the others did not see things the same way.

KIm, IN all actuality I think there is a tad bit of jealousy between Padma and Kristen. They are both two beautiful women. But I could definately see how obvious it was that Padma was favoring Josie over Kristen. Evn after Kristen was booted. Josie should hae been booted long before she even got to restraunt wars. Josie should've gotten booted when she went up against Micah.

Padma should stick to her role as a host and not be allowed at the judges table to judged...

ARosa 14 pts

Padma clearly had something personal and unprofessionally against Kristen.  First and for most...Padma is not a Chef...she is a host for the show...that's it.   Her opinions are not supposed to matter....she is simply the referee.  For some odd reason...she decided to stick her neck far out of her place as a host and vehemently dissuade the judges (who are real Chefs and professionally trained and skilled with a culinary background) to vote off someone who she obviously just did not like....it was apparent in her response...the mad look on her face...and angrily waving her hand at Gale Simmons (who by the way has a culinary background).  A host with no culinary background or training should have no say so in something like this.  Sorry Padma...you may be a cookbook author...like millions of people out there....but your palate is not trustworthy.  You are a host.  Even further...you are a vegetarian who admits not liking when you have to taste meat....how can you judge anything especially with the angry passion you showed that night?  Your judgement and dissuading of the panel was not professional but rather personal

Can't believe how strongly Padma campaigned to get Kristen off! Why do they keep Josie on?

papia11 8 pts

this show is a total disappointment now... leaving josie in and disqualifying kristen was a bod move.... maybe kristen should host next year??

Svick 11 pts

You just couldn't contain your jealousy, could you? You catty, small-minded broad.

stephie117 35 pts

Svick Amen.. she is jealous of Kristen who is gorgeous and brilliant.

You have been showing your true colors this season and when you convinced Tom, Gail, and Emeril to boot Kristen rather than Josie makes me wish Bravo will replace you next season. Kristen has more talent and likability in one pinky than you will ever have in that over inflated sense of your own worth. A former fan.

WTF.  Ratings? Last episode I watch until next season. Because I have no desire to watch the rest of the season. Leaving Josie in was a bad joke. How can you have been that blind. It was very sad to see Padma judge today.

chris.norman.1447 13 pts

U-N-B-E-L-E-I-V-A-B-L-E!!!!! Are you kidding me? Why would you possibly send the best chef of Season 10 home over a chef who is consistently at the bottom. What's worse is you sent Kristen home for said sad sack chef's dish????!!!!! Padma, shame on you, SHAME ON YOU. I am whole heartedly disgusted with that kind of reasoning.

And for the other judges to be persuaded by your "logic"....SHAME ON THEM! You know better than that.

It's clear to everyone concerned that Josie is a coward and a terrible chef, while Kristin went out of her way to not throw a very incompetent chef under the bus. As a VERY loyal fan since the beginning of this show, I am seriously considering not watching the show ever again. i don't know how you can expect anyone to after such a fall down on the job. I'm still in shock. Please seriously consider how to regain the integrity of this show. Perhaps you've lost sight of the point of this whole competition, but get on top of your crap, judges!!!! Tonight was not a top chef night....it was a bottom!!!

debspa123 9 pts

First comment ever; what a travesty. A major bad decision; moves the whole concept of this show aside. Josie is not a top chef, a bottom cruiser all the way; not a superior chef or person of strength on this show. Always thought the concept was to give the best chefs the chance to be recognized; really puts the integrity of the show and its judgement in question. Really a sad night for good judgement.....

Giuseppe27 27 pts

Really how stupid are you sending Kristin home instead of Josie. You should lose your job. Total incompetency.

sammijo2 27 pts

God are you all morons!  Josie is a horrible chef and the only reason that bouillabaisse wasn't right.  She took too long to prep and screwed everything up with that dish.  Kristen should still be there, and you as judges were fools to let her go.

H20lilly 11 pts

You really don't have a clue. Josie is the worst and just coasts, she is a big joke and should have gone home a long time ago.

Cccox 8 pts

@H20lilly I completely agree!

spayne 8 pts

Love all you judges, but you got it wrong tonight.  Josie should have been gone long time ago.

Koanbred 5 pts

Hey there, Padma!

God I love you so much! I think you're absolutely gorgeous!

Anyways...

I'd like to see an Alaskan challenge, where contestants will form teams and be forced to hunt, fish, and otherwise, forage for food. They will be assisted by certain wilderness experts, who will be already be familiar with the terrain, its conditions, and the various methods of Alaskan survival techniques.

I'd like to see the contestants really rough it. Of course, they will have access to any pantry items, seasonings, cooking utensils, and such. However, their specific focus should be on obtaining protein in the form of meat and fish. They will also have to cook in the wilderness. Once by making their own fire from scratch and using the heat from an open campfire like flame. They should also be required to a charcoal or wood burning grill at some point.

Finally, they will perform the last challenge cook-off in a really swank and modern-day looking cabin, where all of the cooking amenities will be available. The menu should include such cuisinary items as Moose, Bear, Quail,Salmon, Trout, Duck, and/or Goose.

Perhaps even Walrus or Seal...

It would be nice to have the opportunity to see Native People of the region and learn how they use to hunt and trap, before the great transition happened to them. During their introduction, they can explain how they use to prepare Whale, Seal, and Beaver. Discuss flavors, taste palates, and favored cooking techniques.

Then next, go to rural China...

Ktop55 13 pts

@Koanbred umm no nobody wants to hear or see anything about seals or whales being eaten. You are an idiot. A walrus? Are you serious? There really are some sickos out there and u are one of them.

Pleas please pleas tell where to purchase the black and white maxi dress you wore on the foiled again episode.

davidnvicki 6 pts

My wife and I would like to continue watching the show but honestly, is there any reason why there has to be so much foul language. There is absolutely no effort made on the part of the participants to control their language.  It would be nice if they were at least encouraged  to try not to be so profane.

Ktop55 13 pts

@davidnvicki oh my ga really? Some of these comments are so stupid. Who cares? Foul language? It's 2013...not 1922. YOLO.

robin.barbera1 10 pts

I would like to know your culinary background.....don't think you have any credibility  to judge any chefs............

ARosa 14 pts

robin.barbera1 she's a cookbook author...and a vegetarian....who admits to cringing when she has to taste meat....that's pretty much it

I feel the the judges are not SUBJECTIVE enough .They pick who they like based on personality and who could provide the best entertainment.

Ed should never have been let go before MEDIOCRE cooks Sarah and Lindsay. I have said it before.......FAVORITISM prevails.

If it's based on "who could provide the best entertainment," what's Paul doing there? He's quiet and without drama. Unless you taste the food, how could you know that Ed's food is better than Sarah and Lindsay's. How Ed could be a contestant on the show and not know that using canned oysters would send him home is crazy. The first chef of this season was eliminated for using frozen shrimp instead of fresh. That said, however, it would be fun to watch the judges judge the food without knowing who cooked what.

I thought the culinary Olympics theme was awful, especially the skiing and shooting part.

the culinary olympics, I thought, we're ridiculous. Wapecially the last two "events". Beverly and Sarah wouldn't have been able to present anything if not for Paul in the 2nd challenge. As far as the 3rd "event" it was embarrassing to watch. What does skiing And shooting have to do with anything? It doesn't show resourcefulness. What if one of them didn't hit any targets? What then? Tom says "we know you're a great chefs but your guns skills are horrendous, pack your knives". At this stage this show and it's Olympic challenges were....not good. Maybe just for entertainment they should just stuck them all on a luge and who ever survived the plunge would be the winner. Your mileage may vary.

This challenge was not about cooking. Having to chop your ingredients, which are hard to even see, out of solid blocks of ice is not about cooking. It was also potentially dangerous, with ice picks used haphazardly. Skiing and shooting, things which most people probably do not do on a regular basis, is about balance, practice and luck, not cooking. What's with the gimmicks, particularly at this stage of the game when we are looking for excellence in the kitchen not on the slopes. Not a good episode at all when one considers extreme cold, high winds, swaying gondolas, skiis, and guns! Fun, maybe, much earlier in the competition, but not at this late date.

I have been the bigest fan of Top Chef since Season One. I am appalled at the treatment of Beverly. The clip where Beveraly described being in an abusive relationship and having the ability to remove herself from that, demonstrated exceptional courage and stength.

I believe both Tom and Padma have a responsibility to call out Lindsay and Sarah. Their behavior was improper and the show should have made issue with them.

This is such an enjoyable show. My disappointment in lack of response from both Tom & Padma, added to the insulting, demeaning behaviors of Linsday and Sarah should be addressed, even after the fact, but on the air.

This is about charachter, integrity..........not only in cooking.......but as members of our society.

Lindsay and Sarah.......shameful.

What the hell? cooking in a moving gondola? getting your ingredients by breaking blocks of ice? having to ski and shoot targets to get your ingredients?

top chef has totally jumped the shark. It is not a cooking show , it is a japanese game show. why not have your cooks drink two gallons of beer then have to cook while sitting in their shorts on a block of ice with a can of steno?

this has gotten stupid for all the chefs.....

why not just have the cooks use all the same ingredients and see how they cook them differently....?

Top Chef has turned into a side show. It more about doing stupid tasks in unrealistic situations than demonstrating excellence in cooking skills. And for what? For ratings? It is not working, boring as hell. TC has turned into such a side show. Go back to basics. I would rather see the chefs face off on the best souffle or the best rack of lamb, then this idiotic skiiing/shooting, ice cube hacking, gondola swaying, biking around a city BS.

This show is rigged. That is ridiculous that Beverly would be sent home over that heinous bitch who can't cook. You should be ashamed. I'm over this show.

This season was the worst ever! So many gimmicks, so little real cooking. The Culinary Olympics were awful. How dare you criticize any food made in a fast-moving gondola? I dare you to do it.

Next season, try going back to the basics. I thought Top Chef was about who is the best chef, not who could survive, let alone cook, in the worse possible circumstances.

I have been a fan for years, but this will be the last season I watch. It was silly, cruel and demeaning to the contestants. The show has been edited solely for the drama. I really hope Lindsay and Sarah are not as mean-spirited as they come across. If they are, alone, I hope they lose for that reason alone. I know it sounds corny, but great chefs should have good hearts.

If Top Chef continues to support these classless, high type 'A' control freaks (Sarah, Lindsay and Heather) then I will find other shows to support. You three ladies have a lot to learn about character and professionalism and should be ashamed of your classless behavior. I take great comfort in ' What comes around goes around'! Go get'em Paul (good has to overcome those ladies evil)!

what a joke this season has become. it's no longer about the food. it's just your average reality tv show. full of gimmicks. i definitely won't be watching next season.

Why, oh why won't you understand that people that watch this show, do it for THE FOOD! If we wanted to see crazy contests I would watch survivor or fear factor. If I wanted to watch some high school like cheerleader bitchy drama, I would watch any crap show on MTV, the real housewives or some Paris Hilton/Kardashian tacky nonsense. I am watching TOP CHEF!! Let me watch good cooking, challenging FOOD situations! When will you listen?! LET THEM COOK!!!!!!!!!! Absurd! That is what this episode was! Judges, aren't you also insulted and tired of getting so-so food (undercooks, overcooks, frozen stuff) in order to accommodate for this TV nonsense when you could be getting outstanding food? Where are the writers from season 6? Best season ever, they really made the cooks shine, to the point that a lot of people have the impression they were the very best, because you gave them the opportunity to shine, great challenges, amazing guests! I bet none of those highly recognised chefs or poeple from the Bocuse d'or would even think of participating in these laughable episodes, and yes, they must be laughing pretty hard at the show right now!... I am also SO tired about watching Lindsay and Sarah, GO PAUL!

The Olympics for Chefs was a joke. Please go back to the cooking and leave the cute stuff to the Housewives........I think you want to be taken seriously.

Please take a stand on Nasty Behavior. Always you hear about this situation all over America. Then you let it flourish on your shows. What happened to a Professional acting like one with dignity?

Enough already. Let's get back to cooking. If you lose a lot of viewers there may not be a next season.

By the way, Beverly SHOULD have won. If Sarah and Lindsay are in the finale I will NOT be watching.

I have to agree with some of the comments, I would NOT set foot in a restaurant that Sarah and/or Lindsay worked in. Those two are disrespectful (and bullies) and I would be ASHAMED to be associated with them.

Beverly, you are the bigger and better person!! Good luck!!

I won't even bother watching the last show. I hope Paul wins. Those two females were very unprofessional and catty. Saw too much as it was!!

First of all, I do not understand why you provide us with an oral blog, not a written one ( the same goes for Pattie Stanger).

Secondly, the gimmicks employed, ie., skiing, shooting, cooking in gondoliers, etc., distract from the real purpose of the show - culinary skills.

It was shameful to make Beverly and Sara compete in sports events. This is a COOKING SHOW. I was embarrassed for Top Chef.

This has to be the worst sedason in T.C. history. The only good chef's are Paul and Ed. Sarah, and Lindsey are horrible cooks. The show has turned into a reality farse. The producers are killing the show. This should be the last season, unless the producers get wise. The real T.C. fans want it to be about the food. Not stupid Gondala, and skishooting antics. How can they pull this in a final four. Paul is the only real chef. UGGH.

Well after being a faithful fan of all of the Top Chef seasons I'm calling it quits. Peewee Herman was bad enough but cooking on a gondola? Getting ingredients out of blocks of ice? BIATHALON?????????? Forget this. I come to watch talented chefs cook, not some outrageous stunts that have nothing to do with culinary expertise.

Good luck to the remaining chefs, but I won't be watching because it doesn't mean anything to me now. Go Paul!! Those two stuck up, mean spirited biatches who are left can kiss my butt.

And if Padma, Tom, Gail, Dana Corwin etc. have any self respect and dignity left in their culinary lives they will distance themselves from this crap quickly. Shame on you producers of a once great show.

I'm out....

Cooking food on the gondola was not a real judge of how they can really cook. How can judges taste food from the gondolas that must have been cold, especially lamb. Having to chip through ice and possibly get hurt was ridiculous. Then the final skiing and shooting - what on earth does that have to do with being a good cook. This show seems to be taking a turn in the wrong direction. Let's have them cook and not compete in weird activities. Sorry to see Beverly go - blind judging of food would be the way to go.

I agree, the contestants show one side to the judges and then a whole other person is shown on the cameras. The judges should look at the footage before making a decision to keep someone or not. I was a Beverly and Grayson fan and Ed third. Now I like Paul who cooked good dishes and had kitchen etiquette. But these other two in the finale should be ashamed and how the judges or Bravo could reward them is beyond me even considering watching this show again. Im done with the cooking shows on to Jeff Lewis.

Aren't you embarrassed to be involved in a competition show in which the challenges are so ridiculous? After the moving mentor challenge, and the imaginative Theron challenge, how can later rounds, when so much is at stake, feature unfair and random contests? Please return this to a cooking show. I know you don't set up these competitions, but you can let the producers know how betrayed loyal viewers feel.
