Originally from Minnesota, Matt knew he wanted to be a designer since kindergarten and earned a BA in Interior Design from The Illinois Institute of Art. Matt now heads up the Interior Design Department at Darcy R. Bonner and Associates in Chicago. Matt considers himself a dramatic designer who's style is current contemporary that's livable. Matt sees design as the only thing that brings him fulfillment. Matt believes that in order to be a great designer, it's a combination of drive, ambition and talent all working together. Matt's philosophy on life is: "My philosophy on life has several steps, but the first two are that life is too short and everyone is fucking crazy." Married for ten years with a four year old daughter, Matt's says his biggest accomplishment is the playhouse he spent 3 years building for his daughter.
