Ryan is not your typical interior designer. At 35, Ryan is an accomplished artist who lives in New York. Ryan started with a Commercial Art Degree from the Art Institute of Pittsburg and later went on to earn both a BFA from Ohio University and an MFA from Hunter College. He considers all his education a blessing because he comes from a small industrial town in Ohio where great opportunities were a luxury. Ryan is extremely appreciative of what he has and is not afraid to do whatever it takes. Most recently, Ryan was in the Whitney Museums Independent Studies Program. His style is "anything that is about climax." Ryan does a lot of installations and his work has been shown all over the United States including the Caron Golden Fine Arts Gallery in New York and the Kantor Gallery in New York. He is a self-proclaimed rock and roll artist who works 24 hours a day. Ryan describes his personal style as "half Henry Rollins, half David Lee Roth, with a sprinkle of Evil Knievel."
