PRESTON,Sparkle Shady chandelier by Swarovski You may think not much is needed in a room when you have a Swarovski chandelier as the main focus, but a good designer can improve upon anything. The chandelier I was working with was very contemporary in design ands small in scale so the room needed to have an edge and a lot of furnishings were needed. The room is designed to be a lounge type of an environment, which would be appropriate in a hotel, an upscale residential property or a bar/club setting. Lucite chairs were combined with fur pillows and natural fabrics such as linens creating a bold mix of texture. Pops of orange and bold wallpaper create eye-catching moments throughout. The overall feel was meant to impress the client with a room which showcased the chandelier, but didn't fight with the Swarovski look.

ONDINE, Glitterbox Horizontal chandelier by Swarovski I created a master bedroom that combines feminine eclecticism with funky Hollywood glamour. The Swarovsky crystal chandelier was a bunch of clear crystals hanging in what looks like a fishnet. I chose to hang it in front of the chocolate grasscloth, between the bed and the chair. Despite its dimunitive size, the chandelier still feels grand. The collection of antique mirrors hung on the lilac wall demonstrates the eclectic taste of my "client." NATHAN, Ice Branch chandelier by Swarovski I was thrilled to get the ice branch! I love the designer, Tord Boontje, and I love the idea that the crystals refract light and the piece is not electrified. My concept was based on the shape that the "branch" cast on the wall and I wanted to repeat that form in my wall painting through color and line. The room is intended to reflect the imagination of a child. I went big with the furniture selections, placement, color and objects. Placing the giant wooden horse in the room created a dreamlike quality that children always have. ANDREA, Glitterbox Vertical chandelier by Swarovski My peridot light inspired me to showcase it in an Old Hollywood style room. Because my light was green, I chose subdued furniture light. I wanted my room to be chic and glamourous, but most of all I wanted to highlight the Swarovski chandelier. I challenged myself and was happy with the finished product.
