When Brittany Cartwright moved to Los Angeles to be with her boyfriend Jax Taylor, we were all curious to see just how the former beauty queen/farm girl would fare in the big city with PUMP's most notorious Lothario, but the unlikely couple has certainly come a long way. Impressing Jax's Boss
If you want to get to a SURver, you have to go through Lisa Vanderpump, and that's exactly what Brittany did. She may have not gotten a job at SUR right away, but she eventually made her way in.
Rumor Mill
Brittany found out very early on that Jax is often at the certain of the rumor mill, and in Season 4 it involved him making a move on Lala.
Season five of Vanderpump Rules opened up with a surprising rumor. Jax claimed that he'd seen Brittany getting up close and personal with his ex and her new friend Kristen Doute after a night of alcohol-fueled fun. The bizarre rumor spread like wildfire around the SUR crew and raised more than a few eyebrows. To this day, the couple is still playing he-said/she-said, so we guess we'll never find out if Brittany did indeed do the do with Doute.
Mama Needs Answers
Brittany's mom Sherri flew out to LA to spend some quality time with her daughter, but she was also on a mission: Operation Get Brittany a Ring. Jax proved to be a little flustered by mama bear's line of questioning, making Sherri wonder exactly where their relationship was headed. Not to worry, mom; marriage is on the brain...somewhere.
Moves Like Mawmaw
If you love a girl, your best move is to make her friends and family love you too — especially her grandma. When the couple took a trip down to Kentucky, Jax surprised Meemaw with some special dance moves of his own. We think it's safe to say that she was very impressed. Brittany, you've got some competition, girl!
