It's been an incredibly emotional time for Lala Kent and her family after the SURver's father passed away in April. But when it came time to celebrate her dad's life on May 2, Lala was determined to focus on joy and happy memories. And, she chose a spunky outfit to match her mandate.

In an Instagram video, the Vanderpump Rules beauty explained: "[My dad] was never a sad person; he was always very into having fun. So today is going to be tears of joy only, with me wearing his most favorite shirt and tie." The singer then asked her mom to zoom in to show fans her new tattoo, which shows the word "dad" inside a heart.

Lala also showed her sweet, tributary outfit in an Instagram Story. She added a little bling — and a pair of thigh-high black boots — to her beloved dad's threads. The look seemed to be a perfect amalgam of father and daughter.
