Brittany Cartwright Reveals Her Secret for Staying Tan All Year Long

If you ask us, Brittany Cartwright's hair should be deemed a national treasure. But, that's not the only aspect of the SURver's beauty that fans are captivated with. How, everyone seems to wonder, does she get that even, golden tan — and how does she stay glowing throughout the wintertime? 

On March 6, the Kentucky native posted an ad that let fans in on her beauty secret. Showcasing two, side-by-side photos of her bare legs, Brittany gave a glimpse at what Tanceuticals self-tanner does for her. Spoiler: it makes Brittany look like she's been lounging on an exotic beach someplace, even in the dead of winter. 

"So many of you ask about how I stay so tan," the #PumpRules pal wrote. "A friend introduced me to [Tanceuticals] a while back and it’s been my go to self tanner ever since.  As you can tell by this before/after it’s dark and so natural looking! And you can’t beat the tropical scent!"

Since we're feeling a little more pasty than sun-kissed lately, we decided to do a little digging on the product that Brittany loves. As it turns out, the self-tanner is touted for smoothing on streak-free, and it stays in place for an average of six to seven days. (That's much longer than most tanners last.) It's also packed with good-for-your-skin ingredients such as acai berry, mango butter, and Vitamin E. That sounds like the perfect cocktail to us — and Brittany's Instagram snap certainly speaks to the results.
