Jax proposed to his longtime love at the famous Malibu restaurant Neptune's Net.
As you may have heard by now — in part because we can't stop gushing about it — Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright are engaged. The SUR bartender popped the question last week, presenting Brittany with a ring that's fit for a princess. (Ogle its many, many sparkles here.) Jax also chose a dreamy, oh-so-California backdrop for the proposal, and got down on bended knee at a Malibu eatery that he and Brittany adore: Neptune's Net.

The casual restaurant overlooks the sea, and serves a menu of (you guessed it!) seafood. Along with New England-style chowder made from scratch, the eatery dishes out fried fish tacos, tuna melts, and piles of fresh shrimp. Yep, you can get fries with that.
Need farther proof that this spot is totally unpretentious? It also hosts weekly karaoke nights, and is hugely popular with bikers gunning it through Malibu. Just like Jax and Brittany, the laid-back spot is tons of fun.
And personally, we think a rehearsal dinner with karaoke and fish tacos sounds pretty tough to beat ...
