It's Official: Tom Tom Has Just Been Named the Best Bar in Southern California
Lisa Vanderpump's West Hollywood hotspot Tom Tom became an instant success.
Hey, bartender — a round of shots for Lisa Vanderpump, Tom Schwartz, and Tom Sandoval! Because the results are in: Tom Tom has just been named the best bar in Southern California. (Yes, not just Los Angeles, or West Hollywood — but the entire region.)
The new WeHo hotspot — beloved for its intricate cocktails and incredible food, not to mention one hell of a scene — scooped up the award from Los Angeles Travel Magazine, whose readers chose the venue in the annual readers' choice awards.
After releasing the list of nominations with Tom Tom named as a finalist, the mag has now published the 2019 winners in more than 20 hospitality categories; in addition to bars, they included airlines, cruise lines, hotels, restaurants, and more. Two rounds of voting ended on January 11.
Also scooping up an award? That would be Gracias Madre on Melrose Avenue, also in West Hollywood. Named best vegetarian restaurant, it's where Bravo's joint premiere party for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Mexican Dynasties is set to go down next week. (Too early to say whether there will be drunken dancing on tables.)
Last month, Vanderpump Rules pal Katie Maloney-Schwartz called Tom Tom's nomination alone "high praise."
An awards ceremony is set for February 19.
