5 Times Sarah Jessica Parker Was Effortlessly Cool on Vacation

Cue the vacation envy.

The lovely Sarah Jessica Parker is 51 years old today. That means the occasion of the star's birth falls every year right around time we're all dreaming about that post-winter-blues escape — so today we're turning to her travel style for inspiration. We know she clearly likes going casual and cool to warmer-weather climes, in addition to traveling with her BFF Andy Cohen. Here are five more insights into SJP's fabulous travel style, from where she likes to go to what she likes to wear on vacay. (Hint: no heels involved.)

1.  Spain

SJP celebrated her milestone 50th birthday looking magnificent in a one-piece swimsuit on a mega-yacht off Ibiza.

2.  Puerto Rico

She's just like us — and Instagrams all her adventures against envy-inducing blue water. Here, she caught a break from promoting her shoe collection while going barefoot in the sand. Those arms though!

3.  Peru

This is how it is. X sj

SJP was obsessed with pom-poms on a colorful trip to Lima, and carried lots of souvenirs as she came back in a fedora and jeans. What we would have given to be on that shopping outing.

4.  Italy

When in Rome, wear aviators and paisley while dining al fresco with friends. That's how the saying goes, right? Well, SJP took that approach and slayed.

5.  New York

The coolest mom in history escaped the Big Apple by returning to a favorite pastime for many city dwellers: a fancy summer vacation home in the Hamptons. But despite her fabulosity, she definitely wasn't too posh to let out her inner kid while playing in the sand with her fam. YOLO!
