Andy talks 'The Talk' and finally puts a face to the voice of Bravo.
There's a chill in the Los Angeles air this morning and people here are furrrreaking about it. I'm not too pleased either, but people here are megawimps when it comes to temps under 55 degrees, especially on Oscar weekend. It's going to be a blast nonetheless.
Yesterday was great. I started the day at The Talk with my buddy Julie Chen. She's awesome, and I really liked each of the other hosts of the show. Leah Remini seems to be a mega Housewives fan, and Sharon Osborne is just my type of nutbag. I gave her a foot massage during the segment; I give a good foot massage. In my dressing room, there was a guest book to sign and the page before me featured this loopy, cursive-y name:
I was surprised that his little signature was so loopy. Sweet, really. I worked from the Bravo offices for the rest of the day and finished it at our On Air Promotions offices for an end of day Bravo West Coast cocktail affair. I was psyched to finally, after 6 years, meet the voice of Bravo, Rick Gomez. Here he is!
I had a dinner at 8:45 but before that stopped at Villa Blanca to say hi to some Beverly Hills Housewives gathered to celebrate their manager Bette Smith's birthday. It was a blast to finally have a glass of Lisa's Villa Blanca Rose at her restaurant and to see Giggy in his natural habitat. Yes, Camille was there too, and yes, all the ladies seemed to be getting along...
Dinner was at Sunset Tower with Ellen Barkin and the room was packed with pre-Oscar excitement. I saw Jackie Collins and Paris and Nicky Hilton, who were lovely. Paris was in a red sequin minidress, in case you care.
I will try to write something Monday morning before I fly home.
