Andy Cohen gives a first-person account of the instantly-legendary Betty White-hosted episode of 'SNL.'

on May 10, 20100

Last weekend was a bit of a jumble, but before I get to that I want to remind you that tonight is Episode 2 of RHNJ, and if you haven't yet seen our Watch What Happens Live After Show, check it out right here.... Ellen Barkin reveals that she uses freakin' STEM CELLS on her face.  UM.....

Friday night I went to see Promises, Promises and was rolling at Sean Hayes' hilarious and sweet performance. If that's his Broadway DEBUT, then I can't imagine what greatness will follow. Kristin Chenoweth is always great and didn't disappoint. I went backstage after and went deep with her about Bravo — that lady knows her stuff!

We had a late supper at Joe Allen's and then a very, very, very late night at Bar Centrale, where we ran into Jessie Tyler Gingey — I mean Ferguson — who was in the eye of a hurricane of megawatti celebs in the back. We closed the place down. Saturday I recovered and screened some Bravo shows.

The Betty Whiteout! SHE'S THE BEST and she needs a Bravo reality show QUICK.. she could do anything and I would watch. Tell her she can bring her animals and do it for the shelters that are closing in CA!

Andy, please do something about the Jersey Housewives all being related. That is really a mess and what it has turned into is a bully fest. Danielle has her faults but the show is completely lopsided.

Andyy., oh my god how i luv u. You are the best!! You crack me up! Betty White was so freaking hilarious on SNL. Love her & the rest of The Golden Girls. :) As for the housewives of NY., ahh. They all need to grow up. They have more drama then a high school kid! Bethany is another story, I love her she's an awesome person and Jill just needs to get off her. Bethany don't need her!

Hi Andy,

I watched SNL to see Betty White as well. She was such a good sport about everything. Her skits were hilarious. She's truly inspirational to the rest of us. Being 88 and having all her marbles and being such a professional! It was great to see her reinvent being older without having a senior moment...

I'm also wondering if Jill has left the housewives. Another thing that really fries me is that Jill is too much of a diva to blog in a timely manner. Her blogs are always late, if she bothers to do them at all, just like last year. I think the popularity of the RHONYC has gone to her head, and she thinks she's actually all that. Sonja is a great addition; we don't need Jill or her pettiness.

Hi Andy:

Did Jill Zarin leave HWs NYC show? I just read where she did. The show will go on but it won't be the same without her.

Andy - what's up with the "West Wing" shows in the morning - they skipped straight from Season 4 to Season 7. I've written emails to Bravo and also tried to call the network! why why why?

I missed Betty White on SNL.It couldn't be helped but I hope to see it in the future.I have loved her for years.I always liked her characters but I always thought she was too nice to play Sue Ann Nevins on the Mary Tyler Moore Show. But she nailed that part.It just shows how versatile she is as an actress and comedienne. And Rose on the Golden Girls, what's not to love?I was just in Chelsea yesterday.I love that part of NY..Maybe not as glamorous as other parts, but just a nice place to be.I love WWHL on earlier.I actually see it.Thanks Andy......
