Andy Cohen is off to the Hamptons, but first he dishes on Jerry Seinfeld's 'WWHL' appearance last night.

on May 28, 20100

I had such a great time with Jerry Seinfeld last night in the Bravo Clubhouse. I thought his dissection of me, the clubhouse, the name of the show, the Housewives, was all pretty damn funny. I got a lot of tweets last night from people saying he should've been loving the Housewives more, but the man is allowed his opinion.

Next week will be fun with Kelly Ripa. If you're wondering, she's a big Housewives fan!

I am heading out to the beach for the weekend. The Countess and I are co-hosting a great event for Miracle House on Saturday night at the Bridgehampton Surf and Tennis Club. It's going to be a blast.

Later today, we'll post the WWHL After Show where I spent 17 minutes trying to stump Jerry in a game of Seinfeld trivia using real questions from Who Wants to be a Millionaire. It is really, really fun!

UPDATE! Watch the online-exclusive After Show here:

Have a great weekend everybody!

JERRY was a breath of fresh air and I totally agreed with his analysis and deconstruction.

Hi Andy, I love you and love your show. Jerry Seinfeld was being himself...funny, and you kept up with him. So you get the mazel. So glad that Bethanny told Jill off. Jill is so mean spirited...when she refused to think of Bethanny's feelings, and just turned her back on her, shows the type of person Jill is down deep. Not too many people could just ignore their best friend crying for you to forgive them. All because Bethanny found a life of her own without Jill. Bethanny doesn't need Jill in her life, she has Jason and the baby...I'm sure Jill will never find another friend like Bethanny was to her. I'm glad most of the housewives gave Jill a little of her own treatment.

Loved your response to Jerry Seinfeld's antics on your show. Now that's classy! Housewives -- Listen up!

You are a fantastic host. Talented, adorable and funny. A real gift to all of us Bravo fans! Thanks for all the fun.

Hi Andy, I adore your late night show. It's a little folksy and very unscripted. Jerry was a great guest. I didn't want the program to end. Please try to have more comics. Wish there could be a housewife show with women who are married, with children who do well in school, and love their husbands - who are not 20 years or more older. My rap on the NYHW - too many older women who are bitter. None are housewives. Is Bethany the only one that isn't divorced?

I have been a Jerry Seinfeld fan for years. That all changed the night he appeared on your show. He acted like he was mad at the world and he was going to take it out on you. He seemed to be going out of his way to demean you. Not only was it not cool, it was not funny. I was appalled at his rude behavior. I don't care if he doesn't like the housewives, but he needed to show a little respect and consideration to his host. I wonder if you are becoming just a bit too successful for his fragile ego to handle.

Jerry was a jerk. He was very disrespectful and not funny. Don't have him on your show again.

Andy,

LOVE LOVE Jerry Seinfeld on "Watch What Happens" laughed out loud. Please make him a regular on this show or make guest appearance on one of the Housewives franchise. He is one of the funniest comedians of our time..."watch what happens"!

I find it noteworthy that Mr. Seinfeld spoke of the Housewive's rudeness to one another. His popular show in the 90's was BASED on rudeness!

Andy, Danielle has got to go! Bravo is just showcasing a deeply disturbed person. Shame on Bravo.

I thought Jerry Seinfeld was arrogant and boring...he is very 5 minutes ago but doesn't seem to realize that.

WOW!! I can't believe how many haters are after Seinfeld! What Kool-Aid do they drink when they watch these shows? He was TERRIFIC and RIGHT ON!! I have been a fan of all the RHs since the beginning seasons and I agree w/ every word he said, especially about the most recent episodes of NY and NJ. Get a grip people!!!

Andy, You're show besides (and what happened to it?) Inside the Actors Studio that has Any HONESTY! I so agree with Jerry Seinfeld...Who cares about any of those "Housewives"? Why are they even on TV? Is BRAVO on a mission to turn Brains into Mush with these horrible shows and despicable women?? I used to like "Millionaire Matchmaker" and even she lost her honesty...she now plays to the camera. I'm a woman, and I can't stand "bitchy woman", nor do I hang out with any of them (guess that's why I'm alone most of the time! lol) Stay real...PLEASE!

Loved Seinfeld!!!!!!!!!!!! It was the best after show you've ever had!

Why doesn't that Zarin chick have to write a blog once a week like everyone else? Is she too special or too pretty or what?

For some reason, my posts never appear....I found JS to be very crass and brash in his attitude and his comments about the RH show...but then he has always had that pushy, in-your-face, 3rd Grade mentality...it's all about JERRY, JERRY, JERRY...I've never been impressed with him in ANY respect..JMNSHO !

Andy, Jerry totally Kelly'd you. He wouldn't let you speak and kept interupting. He was rude! Sorry Jerry everyone doesn't have 5000 cars to entertain ourselves with.

This was the best "Watch what happens"! Jerry was so funny. Although I'm addicted to all of the real housewives shows, you can't take these women or their issues really seriously. Much like the "Seinfield show", Jerry's humor is about the absurdity of life and silly things. This was pure comedy from beginning to end....I laughed so hard.

HI ANDY! I loved your show with Jerry Seinfeld, I laughed during the entire show. His comments about NY Houswives was hysterical! Please Please have him on some more, he was great. Both of you mesh so well. I absolutely adore you by the way. More than the shows I love your commentary! Can't wait to see Bethenny's new show. I don't think Danielle should have her own show. I have seen a few blogs stating that she should...heck she would go crazy without the Manzo's. Jill's spirraling, oh well she caused a few women a lot of anguish, so be it. I'm not at all mean-spirited but am a firm believer in what goes around comes around. Anyway, love ya!

Jerry was totally correct and funny at the same time. Andy, please read Danielle's blog from the last show....she has gone way beyond any reasonable behavior. This is a new low for RH - even the bitchy season on NY. Please do us all a favor and rein her in. Thanks.

hi andy! i don't know if you'll ever see this because that "editor" mentioned below this comment window never seems to read my posts...or, they read them and reject them, for some odd reason.

i only obtained a computer very recently (it was a gift from my dad, who thinks i need to move into the 21st century - he also bought me my first dvd player not long ago because he thought my love of VHS was simply too prehistoric) and i never knew that you were a bravo VP! i have always loved watching you on the reuinion shows and i adore watch what happens live, and wondered how you landed this fun gig! i just thought you were an amazing host! so now i know because i've finally read your bio, and i thank you for helping to create some of the most enjoyable shows ever to be on television. i never thought i'd enjoy any reality tv, and didn't give it a try until the NYC ladies hooked me in their first season. the other cities soon followed, and i'm officially a bravo-haulic now. really, there doesn't need to be any other channels. i am saddened only by the thought of all that i missed before 2 years ago. i truly hope that you guys re-air the first housewives' seasons, and project runway and top chef - absolutely amazing tv that isn't violent, sad, or depressing. (i am not a fan of most network television).

you are hilarious and always right-on with your wit and charm. i loved how you handled jerry seinfeld (!!!), and i congragulate you for getting through the show without strangling him (playfully, of course!), and without a bottle of valium! when you looked into the camera, it was almost as if your eyes were saying "Help!" to the audience! he was hysterical, as always, and so were you and i look forward to next thursday and to many thursdays to come... hugs! sarah

I agree with Vetty from Chicago: Jerry should be the Jackhole Of The Week. Andy, I don't think you should have a guest on(no matter how famous or supposedly funny they think they are)if they are not a fan of the shows. Fans can make fun of the shows but I don't want to listen to anyone else do it. Kinda of like with family.

Jerry Seinfeld was arrogant and obnoxious, like him even being there and the RH shows are way beneath him. ICK. Please no more of him!

Andy,

Love you but please get this straight, Maker's Mark is a bourbon, not a whiskey.

You made the same mistake with that beautiful bottle of Woodford Reserve Bourbon, with the Kentucky Derby motif on the bottle, you said it was a whiskey a few shows back

Just wikipedia the difference between whiskey and bourbon so you know the difference.

You did a great job throwing out the ball in the game and this is another manly thing every man should know.

But otherwise, love you!

Not looking forward to Boney Ripa next week. I know her and her husband are friends of yours, but is it neccessary to have on all your friends on the show? SJP, Ellen Barkin, Jerry Seinfeld etc.

Wonder what happened in the Phoenix market. We were "treated" to a previous WWHL show...with LuAnn's debut. No Seinfeld a'tall, a'tall.

I agree with Maura. Seinfeld is rude and not funny. I could never understand his success. It must have been the Kramer character on his show.

You typed you had fun with him but I think he was insulting you and you said it wasn't fun. He should be jackhole next week.

Love you, wish I was a gay man so we could have a crazy-monkey love affair...and I don't see the cross-eyed thing at all. You are cuter than the proverbial button. I notice you wear brown shoes alot, but can't tell if your suit is black or navy - which is it? I thought I had an issue if it was black, but I've gotten past it & think you're pulling it off either way.

Thought the show was sooo funny last night, I thought you were doing a great job rolling with the punches. It was good to have that other perspective. (Jerry's) He did make some good/funny points...except for one, do not get rid of the Jackhole of the Week....Love you Andy!!

Jerry was a RIOT!! His explanation of the "jewish curse" of "Watch what happens!" was fantastic!!! He's right. And of COURSE, he wouldn't watch 'the housewives.' They're hideous women, what does he need that aggravation for?? It's sickening for us fans to watch them! He was not mean, he was very funny and full of common sense!

I was eager to watch the Jerry Seinfeld episode but instead it was a repeat (the one with LuAnn and Sonia from RH of New York)... Did this happen to anyone else? I live on the west coast.

He was very disrespectful, rude and really it was painful to watch; he acted as if his intellect was getting damage by the questions….or as Andy had to kiss his Behind just because he was present….It was too much… Who does he things he is…too much for the show and the topics…if he taught so maybe his agent shouldn’t booked him in your show and he shouldn’t had accepted the invitation. But for him to act as if he was so ...beyond the show PLEASE ...get down to reality Seinfeld...your success was how many years ago???? Please give me a break.... Seinfeld...When you go to a house you do not offend the house owner and that is basically what he did... FYI…I am not one that like the Watch what happen and the topics ….but I know about respect and décor!

Hello! Jerry is a comedian everyone, he is being funny, not rude. Loved the show and still laugh at some of his remarks only because you, Andy, are such a funny sidekick.. it was your reactionas that made it all so hilarious. You really are such a nice guy, I was afraid you were offended there for a minute or two.

Andy, loved the show - you are just too funny.

How come the Full Episode 12 RHNY is not up on the Web site? It's been over one week since it aired. Is there any set day of the week Full Episodes are posted or are they posted whenever - at the whim of the Web Master?

The BEST EPISODE EVER!!!!! Jerry was hilarious, and Andy rolled with the punches. If you can't laugh at and with yourself, what fun are you? I thought it was awesome, and Jerry was super honest. He was so no-nonsense about calling out all the ladies on their bad behavior. As Teresa would say, "love, love, love it!"

Great W.W.H. last night, Andy. I felt badly for you being that Jerry was being so hard on R.H.N.Y. Yes, he is entitled to his opinion but off camera, I might of said, "WTF are you doing to me?" But you rolled with it. I never miss the show and this has been an excellent season and I'm sorry to see it drawing to a close.

As a Jill fan, last season, this has been an eye opener. I'm still not totally writing my girl off, hoping that something was lost (or many manipulated) in the editing.

A a former radio station programmer, I can feel the energy that you have brought to Bravo and your track record speaks for itself!

Enjoy the Hamptons and the summer and keep making Bravo the exciting watch that is is.

One final thing... Love that Sonja Morgan!
