Andy Cohen sits down with the "massive" actor tonight on 'Watch What Happens Live'

on Apr 8, 20100

It is going to be a really fun night in the Bravo Clubhouse because Sir Liam Neeson is coming to hang out and answer your questions in the one and only interview he's giving in support of his three movies in theaters right now. He's actually NOT a "Sir," but he should be, if only because he is a massive dude. We have some good stuff planned for him; this is going to be fun. (Incidentally, tonight's episode of RHNYC is yet another DOOZY.)

You all seem a little peeved about the winner of Shear Genius, based on the tweets I got last night. The winner is stopping by my office today and I'll shoot a videoblog if you want to post or tweet me some questions.  Also tonight at midnight, I'm announcing your fan favorite winner.  Will it be the same person?

Last night The Paley Center (NYC's incredible museum of TV) hosted a screening of the first episode of Bravo's next big competition series, Work of Art: The Next Great Artist, followed by a panel discussion with the show's judges, host China Chow and producers, including Sarah Jessica Parker. The audience seemed to really love it and the discussion was lively. If we can get people invested in — and talking about — art, then we're good. (Last night we did, and we were!)

After the Paley Center we headed downtown to a dinner where I had a long chat with the delightful Jonny Weir. He is a PISTOL. And his body seems to be one big muscle. That's called being a figure skater, right??

I have a lot to do today so I shall get to it and see you at Midnight.

Andy's remark to Laura about skiing was just a bad slip. Someone should have cut the remark out of the show. Terribly uncomfortable (for me, it made me feel awful)that no one cut in from the video. There are so many people who love Natasha; all of them who heard this reference to skiing are surely hurt. Surely Andy knows that Laura's fiance lives in Telluride, so there was no reason to mention skiing- Laura probably spends a great deal of time there. She does not go there for skiing. She can ski anywhere in the world.Maybe Andy does not know Laura very well. God love Natasha and her family, and watch over them.

Hey Andy ! My husnband & I loved your show with Liam Neeson. We were totally surprised so see someone of his stature( you know what I mean) on the show. He is no doubt one of the best actors of our time but he also appeared to be quite genuine. I admire him more for putting himself out there - on your show. Andy you are hilarious - you need a show more along the lines of Graham Norton's - to really "showcase" that acerbic wit of yours. Hey, I would love to see you on his show - you are probably one of the few people who could make him speechless.

Andy - sorry, but your comment regarding skiing was in poor taste. Liam - you are a delight and I agree with the female phone caller about you getting sexier. She didn't respond to your availability quip but I'll say yes. You were terrific in "Taken." Take care and may God hold you and your sons in the palm of His hand.

That was so nice with Liam. Glad you are both doing okay after such a heartbreaking loss. I know it still hurts, but it will get better. Take good care, and Aloha from the Big Island. Nothing like the sea and sun to help heal....

Andy, Love your show but I think you should get jackhole of the week for going after Justin Bieber the way you did and goaded Liam to do as well. I think he is a talented kid who is in the spotlight not for bad or criminal behavior but for hard work. I'm not a fan of his (can't stand bubblegum pop music) but I am a mom of 2 teens (who like indie rock/punk music) and don't like adults attacking kids. Direct your attacks to people over 18. Thanks.

Shouldn't have mentioned skiing in the presence of Liam.

Regarding your jackhole of the week:

I have been calling those ugly shoes "BOONDALS" for years, ever since open toe boots have come out in style. I don't see the sense in that footware, and I will wait for the trend to pass. You heard it hear first :)

I feel it was insensitive on the part of Andy to insouciantly mention skiing in the presence of Liam Neeson.

I can't believe you told Laura Linley "to go ski for us" or something like that, with Liam as a guest, what were thinking or were you thinking.

Liam Neesom is an amazing actor. I have always admired his work. My question for Mr. Neesom is this: Liam you are a very handsome man(whom I would love to meet) how do you stay so fit?

I understand Jill's husband is ill but she is over reacting. I think she needs a lackey and because Bethany now has someone else in her life she's making her the pariah. Jill and Lou Ann deserve each other. Bethany shouldn't let them see you cry.

I don't know if I have the right place here or not. I am sitting here watching HOUSEWIVES. And I would like to make a comment to the Ladies. Just a little friendly grandma advice.

Ladies, I love you all...love the show. I am sitting here watching a friendship falling apart. I am not familiar enough with the Ladies to know all the names yet...but surely you know who I mean. (Bethany and Kelly?)

I hate more than anthing to see friends argue. Do, you realize that friendship is one of the most important things you can ever have in life? I know a lot of people won't agree with this, but my point of view is that NOTHING (except family, of course) is more important than friendship. What you all have makes you all so rich..and I am not talking about money, or jewels! A good friends makes you the richest people in the world. Love each other, be thankful for each other, don't accuse, be quick to say "I'm sorry".

Ladies, I REALLY know what I am talking about. 12 years ago, I lost my husband and had to leave the state I lived in to return to my home state to be near family. My best friend and I cried when I had to get in that vehicle to leave. I felt like my heart was broken and I would never be the same. We were that close. I was all most old enough to be her mother, but she was the best friend I ever had. We promised to keep in touch and we did for a while. Then one weekend my daughter drove me 500 miles to see her. When I got there, she acted like we were strangers. she had a new best friend. That didn't bother me, but the fact that she wouldn't even talk to me did. I have no idea why she was like that, but that day our friendship ended. Sometimes I get to thinking of what a wonderful friendship it was. How we laughed, cried, talked about our husbands.. I feel such a sense of loss. I would love to have her be my best friend again, but we have lost all contact with each other. Have gone our seperate ways. I often wonder about her, her husband and her children.

Please don't let anything destroy your friendships. Friends are such a wonderful thing to have. I have never found anoter best friend. I hope you all have long and happy friendships. You are SO lucky!

Hey Andy, why can't we have more shows with Jeff Lewis? He's very funny and his show is the best. My daughter and I both have a crush on him. He's great on your Watch What Happens Live show also. More Flipping Out!! Please!!!!

Brigs work was inferior. She should have never won the hundred grand. She did consistently bad hair.

Dear Andy,

I used to Love RHNYC, but do not even like it anymore. The entire cast needs to be replaced. This is not "reality" anymore with all the product placement, and forced storylnes. We know how each of these women live, and nothing is new in their lives, except pushing product. I would watch again if new, interesting women came on.

Thanks, Jane

Liam - My fiance and I LOVE you, and I miss Natashia dearly (I can't watch the parent trap anymore - well at least for a while). We are super excited to see - what we consider a classic -the Clash of the Titans. What was your favorite aspect of Greek Mythology incorporated into the movie?

Dr. Grammar
Dr. Grammar

Andy - have you noticed how the RHNYC are emulating Kelly by using the word "honestly"? You might recall how often Kelly used this word to express herself last season, as well as during the reunion show (remember how she responded to LuAnn?). I mean, honestly, can't the other housewives show some hint of individualism? Betheny now uses this word extensively, as does Jill. Honestly, ladies!

Liam Neesom is a wonderful actor.I hope I can stay awake because I have a tough time after 10 P.M.Johnny Weir is adorable.I love figure skating and i'm awed by the grace and athletic ability of these skaters.I wasn't thrilled with the outcome of Shear Genius.Brigs hairdos reminded me of a weird costume.I don't think those styles should have won.For some reason i didn't enjoy the show as much as last year.Maybe it's just me.Through the season the stylists did have some great styles and they should all be commended just for trying!

Shear Genius? Sorry, Andy, but it's all about the Real Housewives for me. Nothing can compare (or compete). And I can't wait to see tonight's episode!

BTW - just so you know, I am wasted at work every Friday because I stay up to watch you do your thang at the Bravo Clubhouse (which unfortunately, no longer airs "live" on the West coast).

Unfortunatly, I'm going to pass on tonight's episode of RHONY. I can't bear to watch them yell at each other for another episode. This season is really not good. Hoping for a better one next!

Brig was my fave and deserved to win! Please get a new host for next season, love the judges though.

I'm sick to my stomach about Brig winning Shear Genius. I'm not kidding, I will never watch this show again. My three year old granddaugher could have done what she did, and it looks like she did!!! Does this mean you don't have to know how to style hair to win a HAIR SHOW competition?

FanFare56
FanFare56

Andy,

You're right that Liam Neeson is an extraordinary actor. No doubt that it's been a painfully difficult time for him since the untimely death of his beautiful wife.

The conclusion to Shear Madness was shocking. Base-level Brig tested my patience more than she challenged my mind with her ridiculous craft-projects-on-heads. For the finale, she made plastic wrapped buns with scotch taped arrows stuck on the side. Really? That was rewarded the grand prize? Ugghh. I thought the show was about working beautiful things with HAIR

Flopsie

I am glad that Brig won, she took chances with all of her creations, she deserved it, Matthew & Jeanine were the mean girls of the show they were mean to Brig, how did she feel about that? How is her salon doing? She seemed to be "in the weeds" for a lot of the competitions, is that how she rolls? Did any of the competitions bother her?
