My husband should get the Mazel of the Week. Here's Why:

When faced with a "Are you sure you want to change the channel?" from my DVR, here's what happened:

Him: Babe, didn't you watch the NY Housewives Reunion already?

Me: Yeah, but it's a 3-part-er.

Him: Well, would you mind if I record it an hour later so that I can watch the NBA Finals?

The Chicago Blackhawks should get this weeks Mazel for bringing the Stanley Cup back to Chicago after a 49 year drought!! If not the entire team, then Duncan Keith sure deserves it......he lost 7 teeth during the final series and still played. Oh, and your jackhole can go to anything Flyers, but if pointing out just one, go with Pronger!

Here is my vote for Mazel of the week. Rural NC man, Tim Peeler (no relation to me), spots Bigfoot in his yard. Below is a link to a NC news station that covered the story. He deserves the Mazel for having the guts to tell that harry, oversized ape man to "Git!" Then he called 911 to report the sighting! What a guy!

Mazel of the week should go to Ms. Kathy Girffin...for shutting down Elisabeth Hassleback on Tuesday's VIEW. If Elisabeth had anything to say, she should have been more specific and less general. Bravo to Kathy for confronting the situation head on and asking Elisabeth to "bring it". Her failure to so much as give ONE example, shows a weakness considering she tried to go there. And for her to have stretch and yawn during th einterview, we all know it was on purpose, how unprofessional. Let's hear Kathy's fresh and unedited take on the situation.

I vote for Jill Zarin. I can't believe any woman could remain gracious and apologetic while taking so much grief on publi TV. She had to listen to so much negativity with all of it aimed at her. It was so slanted to critize her I almost turned the show off, Instead of the show being called 'Reunion' it should have been called 'Bashing Jill.' Mazel to her!

Bethenny! Hands down, FOR SURE..... Any man, women, or child that can put up with Jill Zarin & Kelly Insanemon (or whatever her last name is) and still display the level of class and composure that Bethenny Frankel does on a consistent basis......well she not only deserves the Mazel this week but I think she is deserving of the Nobel Peace Prize? I was browsing the list of members on the Nobel Peace Prize Nomination Committee (just something I like to do in my spare time) and there was your name... Andy (That Bravo Show Host Guy) Cohen. Billy Nungesser, Plaquemines Parish President in Louisiana, should get a mazel!!!! I bet you didn't expect that. Who is he? Well, I'm about to change the upbeat tone of the mazel suggestions this week though I do think Bethenny, Cookie, Andy, Betty White and Jimmie Dean deserve theirs too. Unless you're on the Gulf Coast you might not know my choice for mazel of the week. Watch CNN news (esp. Anderson Cooper 360...he should get a mazel too) and you'll see Nungesser talk about the BP oil spill's affect on his area. He's a big guy with a lovely, lilting Louisiana accent and a passion for his home and its people. He was the local Louisiana face of this long before anyone else bothered to worry. Like many, I didn't even know he existed before this. He was there from the beginning begging for help, listing specifically what they needed in cleaning supplies/volunteers/boats/booms/etc and asking for execs and gov't officials to do something while they all were acting like if they ignored the spill it would go away. He knew and tried to communicate the damage the oil would cause and that every day that passed was a day lost in saving the vital coastal areas and wildlife. He asked for people to come up with new ideas to stop this or at least clean it. He was ready and willing to work endlessly to save us all. We're 56 days in and will be counting for a long time to come...Billy Nungesser is still coming on tv to hold BP and others accountable/get them to help and make others aware. If you remember the news reporting the first few weeks that the governors of all the coastal states, the President nor any governments officials were involved yet. No one spoke before this man. It took them weeks before they started dealing with it. Not him. I'm not a political person at all and I also understand how we all get tired of hearing the news report things over and over, but this is different. It will affect us all so dramatically whether it is the polluting of waters, the way companies drill in the future, how we as a nation decide to get oil and from where and how we use alternatives. As you've probably guessed, I am from the AL-MS-LA areas. We have a beach house at the Gulf, and family and friends and property from Mobile to New Orleans. These states really do have so much to offer and a charm and a beauty and a soul. Seeing the long term damage this oil is causing for the wetlands, coastal towns, fish, birds, etc. is heart-wrenching. A way of life is disappearing before all our eyes. I know many of you who are not from the coast may already be tired of hearing about this, but it will affect you one day no matter where you are. When something this big happens it changes things for a long time and perhaps forever and touches many. It will affect you because it is polluting our Earth, our waters, our food, generations of surviving species, people's livelihoods and so much more. Whether this affects you by not having great Gulf coast seafood at your fave restaurants (Yes, even the North buys and has shipped our blue crabs for you to eat!) or affects your child's science class when studying extinct birds/fish one day or causes businesses in your area to lose money or lay off people b/c coastal businesses, companies, industries and tourism don't exist/are in trouble that ordered things from companies in your state,,,you should care too. You should want to help. We'd help you if you needed it. So mazel diligent, untiring, concerned Billy Nungesser to show that some regular guy can and will make a difference and that you are hearing what he and others are saying and that you care. Keep your thoughts with our coastlines and wetlands from Fl to LA. Those good thoughts and helpful hearts will be needed for months and years to come.

I think that the Mazel of the week should go to Carrie Underwood for winning 2 CMT Awards last week and looking FIERCE doing it! Plus Andy you should really give some love to the country music community...us gays have some DIVA's in that genre as well! Dolly, Reba, Carrie...Thanks!

I think the "Mazel of the Week' should be Jacqueline Laurita. When she kicked out her daughter after she made such a rude comment my heart stopped. Caroline is right she is a spitfire. Jacqueline didn't care who was around, she was not going to take such disrespect from her child. Good for her!!! As a mother I'm sure it hurt but it needed to be done. Tough Love - I think more parents need to buck up and use this approach.

John Goodman Lost over 100lbs. wow that is a Person, He will live a longer life and is getting ready for his 58th Birthday. Mazel to John Goodman.

the Mazel should go to the town of Grand Isle, La. They have lost their livelihood and their heritage due to the oil spill that has infected their land and water. Their town was destroyed by hurricane Katrina, yet the townspeople gathered together and had their community back together without any major outside help. This is a tragedy that the town will not recover any year soon.

Deana from the Housewives of NJ should get the Mazel of the week for Leaving the show to seperate herself from the unhealthy, dark drama that is going on. We will miss her but respect her decision

Sean Hayes should get the Mazel of the week for (1) swapping spit or (deep tongue kissing) Kristin Chenowith on the Tony's for an uncomfortably long time and (2) dressing up as Little Orphan Annie for an encore. Is there nothing this actor will not do for a laugh? He is hysterically funny and was a bright spot in The Tony's which seemed like a two hour commercial for Broadway Musical theatre.

My rooommate and I are sitting here feeling incredibly out of the know. We just finisehd watching Andy, Dina, and Ramona, and was told at the end of the show to vote for your favorite Mazel. At the risk of sounding dumb, what is the concept of a Mazel?

Dina from NY gets my nomination for Mazel of the Week because she had the maturity and courage to leave the show to avoid DRAMA like Danielle! ughh. But two thumbs up for her!

I think Bethenny should get Mazel of the Week for all the obvious reasons and Jill should get Jackhole of the Week for the same.

Danielle is a sick puppy and should not be allowed to pollute the airways. Dina, I will miss you but GOOD FOR YOU FOR TAKING A MATURE STAND.
Ramona, I feel you were the voice of reason this season, except for you yelling at Bethany.
