Derby and Atlanta and Madness

Andy Cohen had a Bravolebrity-filled weekend at the Kentucky Derby.

Before I get to my wacky weekend, let me remind you that tonight is the premiere of Season 2 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey and I will be at the big premiere party at the Brownstone, and YOU'LL be there too, if you log onto Bravotv.com or Ustream.tv. I'm live with a roaming camera on those sites from 8:30 EST through the show, until 11:30 pm. Attending will be New Jersey wives, New York wives, fans of the show, and other Bravolebrities. During the show, I'll be watching it live with Albie Manzo and RHNJ superfan and Andy's Blog regular Liza! (So you can watch the show WITH us, see?)

WHAT a crazy weekend. I flew out Friday morning and headed straight to Churchill Downs, where I met up with my Bravo posse which included Dina Manzo and Flipping Out stars Jeff Lewis and Jenni Pulos. We got a crash course on everything from the amazing team at NBC Sports, who ran us around Churchill and showed us places you just can't get into ... like the Jockey's dressing room. Those little fellers are so nice!

It was so exciting meeting fellow St. Louisian Bob Costas, and even more of an honor being able to "throw" to him on TV.  Here I am with Dina standing behind something I never imagined — an NBC mic flag.

Friday night, team Bravo hit the Barnstable Party, which was a total scene. Performances all night from Smokey Robinson (his wife loves Flipping Out!), Salt-N-Pepa (incredible), Taylor Dayne, Nick Lachey (the boy can sing Stevie Wonder!), Travis Tritt, and on and on....  We ran into big Bravo fans Jerry O'Connell and Rebecca Romijn. Oh and we all fell in love.

I dig the fact that Johnny Weir went with the sportcoat/no shirt look. I ALMOST did that.

Here we are on Derby day after a loooooong, fantastic night.

Oh and you might've heard that Jeff and I got married at the event, and here are our bridesmaids....

I had to leave late in the afternoon of Derby Day to go to Atlanta to accept a Visibility Award from the Human Rights Campaign fund in Atlanta. Look who presented it to me!

Nene was in great form... I am going to have a fuller report for you on all this tomorrow....
