Drag Hangover

Andy Cohen parties with Lady Bunny and Christian Siriano.

Tonight is the premiere of "Tabatha's Salon Takeover" starring "Shear Genius" vixen Tabatha Coffey. This is an electric lady! I love her show...

The "Runway" after-show is turning into such an insane feast every week that I am almost always at a loss when I walk out of 30 Rock at 11p on Wednesday nights. Last night we had Lady Bunny with Runway Lovers Daniel and Wesley. At the end of the show, Christian Siriano came and sat on my lap for 5 minutes to promote his hosting the show next week. I dunno. It was really really gay. And fun. I am wondering what y'all thought of last night's drag challenge. I thought it was fantastic and fun. I love a great drag queen. Bunny's take on all the outfits was great, and I thought Ru was any amazing guest judge. If you've never seen Varla Jean Merman's act, by the way, do a little YouTubin' today at work...

Speaking of insane drag queens, check out the FRONT PAGE article in the New York Times about Candy Spelling's new 47 million dollar condo. Candy is looking for places to donate her collection of Madame Alexander dolls. (I think she should auction them off and give the money to Zoila, but that's just me.) My favorite thing is her referring to her current 56,500 square foot home as "the Manor". Here's what: I don't think it is a 'manor'. Dictionary.com says a manor is "a landed estate or territorial unit, originally of the nature of a feudal lordship." So I don't know maybe it IS a manor, especially since it is in LA and Aaron Spelling did have something of a feudal lordship over the TV industry. American Heritage says that a manor is a "landed estate", so maybe it actually IS a manor? The word sounds so cheap rolling off Candy's lips. But then again the name Candy sounds like a drag name so why am I quibblin' this morning...
