Brimming with Pride
Andy Cohen celebrates the Tonys and L.A. Pride weekend.
A few things to say and not much time to do it as I am trying to make a flight home!
Part 2 of the O.C. Reunion airs tonight at 9 before a new Platinum Hit. It's very dramatic; things between Alexis and Peggy take an unexpected turn while Tamra and Slade go to war.
Congratulations to my friends John Benjamin Hickey and Ellen Barkin who both snagged Tony Awards last night for their incredible work in The Normal Heart. The play is open til July 10th -- GO! It is one of the great nights in the theater -- I promise you.
I had so much fun on my quick trip to L.A. this weekend. I arrived Saturday evening and had a great night out with Christina Aguilera, who is a lovely person and great talent. I downloaded Stripped when I got home; it's good. (We talked about that album a lot.)
Sunday I was the Person of the Year at L.A.'s Pride festivities, and Jeff, Jenni, and Zoila joined me in the vehicle. We had so many laughs -- actually we laughed the entire way. Those three are so much fun. Zoila had the greatest time and got a huge response. We partied all day, and at one point ran into Lisa Vanderpump and Giggy. It was a phenominally entertaining day and we met a lot of great people. Oh, and I lost my phone for eight hours which was both terrifying and liberating.
