Busy Morning

Andy Cohen shows some skin on Regis & Kelly.

It's a gorgeous day in Manhattan with just the slighest nip of fall in the air. I started my morning with Kelly Ripa filling in for Regis and I had a BLAST. She is the easiest person to talk to and the whole experience was just FUN.

About the lederhosen, I still don't know why exactly I was wearing the outfit as I wasn't stomping grapes, but you do know that I'm a very festive guy and I love a costume. So I embraced it heartily. A LIVE! with Regis & Kelly intern came by the office yesterday for me to try it on, and I marched around the 46th floor to allow everyone ample opportunity to make fun of me.

I'm in a car en route to JFK -- and LAX -- right now. It is Emmy weekend -- we're nominated for Top Chef and keeping all our fingers and toes crossed. There are lots of fun parties, and I always love seeing everybody associated with Top Chef.

Last night I had a board meeting for Friends In Deed, New York's largest help center for people with incurable illness and the people who love them. We're planning an amazing event on October 3rd to celebrate our 20th Anniversary -- an evening treasure hunt through the Museum of Natural History curated by Stephen Sondheim. Is that cool or what? Sondheim is legendary not only for his musical prowess but also for his treasure hunts -- who knew!? Go to FriendsinDeed.org for info on the event. And have a great weekend!
