I am STILL recovering from Monday night's glorious Met Ball. This blog will certainly not be able to fully capture the beauty of the evening, so let me just top-line it by saying every single person looked absolutely incredible and took great care in how they looked. And pretty much everyone smelled good (Fergie was wearing her own scent, which we discussed) and there were only a few moments where I was on the receiving end of some intensely sour breath. (Stars, they're just like US!)
It was a collection of pretty much every boldfaced celebrity, singing star, designer, and titan of industry all seated for dinner withing the spectacularly lit Temple of Dendur at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in celebration of the new McQueen Exhibit, which is just up. I was fortunate to be Sarah Jessica Parker's date and we were guests of the McQueen group. SJP was absolutely glittering in a 2005 McQueen dress that she was not allowed to tailor, but fit her like a glove. I wore a McQueen tux.
Andy, can I have your life?! I still want my own, but if I could just borrow yours for a night or two, that would be great.
Oh Andy, you and SJP were so gorgeous. You always bring beauty and joy into a world that sometimes needs a pick me up!Kisses!
You guys look great! I have been obsessed with the Met Gala for years now and I love seeing all the amazing couture that finds its way to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Who was the best dressed starlit there, besides SJP of course? Also, what was the overall best part of the evening?
You look handsome and I love all your shows, especially WWHL!!!!
On the next show, please mention that the Countess was incorrect and Cat was correct. Poor Cat, she actually looked totally humiliated but was in fact, correct regarding how the Queen is addressed in Britain...when one meets the Queen for the first time it's Your Royal Highness and not Your Majesty.
You spoke with Tom Brady and Giesle. Wow, is he down to earth as we would like to think they both are. I thought Giesle looked stunning in her red McQueen dress. She usually wears a fitted dress so this look was stunning, Of course SJP looked stunning as always!!
Thank you for setting the record straight....Cat looked so uncomfortable and I think she felt ganged up on.
Mr. Cohen, you are listing off all of these celebrities like you aren't one yourself! I can promise you, if I were at a gala and you were seated at the next table over, my first announcement post event would be "ANDY WAS AT THE TABLE RIGHT NEXT TO ME!!" You are an A List name as well! Get used to it, my friend, and enjoy the ride!
