A Lot to Say
Andy's stoked for the Cardinals and dishes on his night at Studio 54.
I have too much to tell you and too little time. (I'm on 8th Ave and 31st Street and I have till 50th and 5th.) So let's GO...
Very excited about last night's Cardinal game! After dinner I went to Foley's on 33rd and 5th, which seems to be the hub of all Cardinals fans in NYC. Everyone was in red and it was super communal and lots of Bud and high fives and spirit. I loved it!
Speaking of spirit, today is SPIRIT DAY! I'm wearing purple to support Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgendered Youth, and to try to stop bullying today and every day. On a side note, I can't believe how many purple options I had this morning. Many ties.
Tuesday after work was a great full-circle event for me as I had drinks with CBS News Correspondent Erin Moriarty and joined her at a party celebrating the 15th anniversary of the publication of The Notebook. She and I did a piece for 48 Hours on Nicholas Sparks and the book following its rise to the top of the bestseller list. Nick very sweetly credits that piece for a lot of his success in the beginning, so it was like a big reunion. You know I love a reunion, right? Don't be surprised if Nick stops by the Clubhouse sometime!
OK I'm on 8th and 45th, gotta hurry!
After Nick's party I ran home and changed for Sirius Radio's amazing one-night only reopening of Studio 54. They got it right! The music, the lights, the vibe, the fun, the crowd. WOAH is all I can say. I danced with Bethenny and Brad Goreski a bunch and saw a ton of familiar faces. Man was it fun! I will be on Studio 54 Radio doing a wrap-up of the night soon. (And though the New York Post prints today that I threw a fit because I couldn't get into the balcony, I spent the last few hours of the night there and had a blast. So thanks for that excellent reporting!)
The new seasons of Top Chef and RHATL are spectacular! Watched many cuts of both yesterday and feel great about those shows.
Half a block to go. Shoot I'm gonna have to take this to my desk.
Last night I pre-gamed at the Monkey Bar with the divine Joan Collins and Harpers Bazaar Editor Glenda Bailey. It was a ton of laughs and gossip and great food!
OK I'm at 30 Rock now. I have too much waiting upstairs. Let's leave it here. GO CARDS!
