Thursday is for Gentle People

Andy shares some celeb-filled stories from LA.

Good morning from Los Angeles!

I loved the Just Desserts finale last night -- did you know we're announcing the fan fave on WWHL Sunday night? Well, it's true.  I also dug the pop art challenge on Work of Art, though I am devastated about the person who got sent home. (That happens often.)

The Chateau Marmont is hopping here, and tonight I'm hosting AmFAR's Los Angeles Inspiration Gala at the hotel. There will be performances by two of my faves, Debbie Harry and Sinead O'Connor, and Sandra Bullock is honoring Liz Taylor.  So it'll be chic and black tie and there will be a lot of fun people and money raised for a great cause.  I had dinner at the Chateau Tuesday night when I arrived and ran into Rachel Zoe (with Joey) and Ryan Murphy (with Darren Criss). It was a fun scene.

I'm glad the baseball game got rained out last night. I think the extra rest is going to help the Cardinals get their act together. That's what I think about that.

The other day someone sent me an advance of Mindy Kaling's book and I forgot to bring it to LA, which is I guess a good thing since I have enough to distract me already. She's so funny and a great comedy writer, so I'm really looking forward to reading this. I have so much respect for anyone with a book, especially someone like her or Tina Fey, who jam layers and layers of funny into already funny tales.

I'm seeing a ton of Bravolebrities today. It's going to be a fun one! Hope you have a great day!
