Woo-hoo! It's 2012, and so far the year's been just fine. I've been in Los Angeles for a few days and spent NYE at Sur with a big group of friends. I gotta say that this town -- while It has gorgeous weather and a whole lot more -- has not much energy, so I was a little skeptical about spending NYE here, but Sur was the perfect spot. It has a St. Tropez vibe and is super celebratory, and not only did we see Lisa Vanderpump but also Kevin "Shi Shi Shi," the wedding planner.
I loved all your tweets about Brad's new show last night. It really reminds me of Bethenny Ever After more than Rachel's show --well, maybe a combo of the two. Anyway, it's cool seeing inside his relationship with Gary and the beginning of his career building his own business.
I had a great break, although I can't say it was incredibly restful. I hung out with lots of friends over the hols then headed to Sag Harbor to finish my book, which is about a week or two away from being completely put to bed. I took some naps, watched (and loved) Midnight in Paris, and the Woody Allen American Masters, which I also loved. I also saw 20 minutes of the Tom Hanks-Sandra Bullock movie, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close. Oh and I played a ton of plants vs. zombies.
Next Tuesday is the premiere of a brand new season of Tabatha and she's back and fiercer and funnier than ever. I loooooove me some Tabatha. You're going to be seeing her in the Clubhouse very soon. And on that note, only five more days til we go five nights a week. OMG.
Glad to hear you are having fun and resting. What a nice way to spend the holiday! With Lisa and Ken! They are wonderful! I loved Midnight in Paris too. So good! But isn't everything Woody does?
Brad is funny. He is going to be a hit! I like the show. Looking forward to seeing you on your return.
Happy New Year Andy! So wish Tabatha would pay a nice visit to the salon where my hair chick just relocated to. saw someone getting highlights w/ the bonnet and rug hook thing!!
Happy New Year to you and congratulations for your success. Looking forward to the fun on your WWHL shows. You are, indeed, a superb and charming host.
Kim is a complete mess! Nothing about her is enjoyable to watch. She may be going through a hard time, but she creates her own drama. The scene with her and Brandi was just awful. She is a grown woman and should not have behaved like a 5 year old. Get her off so we can at least have the Disney memories before even those are tainted!
Taylor/Shana or whatever her alias is, needs to go, the viewers are getting tired of her lying and manipulative ways plus I believe she is a danger to herself and others.
Love Brandi, she is a breath of fresh air and is candid. Nothing fake about her, she says it like it is. Unfortunately, Kyle is so jealous of Brandi because she is younger and slimmer. Kyle is the ultimate mean vicious bully who has to pick on someone, First season it was Camille and now Brandi. Kyle is a truly ugly person. I used to like Kim but watching her pick on Brandi just like her bully sister Kyle is disgusting.
Happy New Year Handsome Andy! Glad you had yourself a little vacation...you deserve it. SO, so, so (did I say SO) excited to see you 5x/week. Hell, why watch the news, when I watch your handsome, witty self! Also, can't wait till your book comes out...HUGE Mazel to you! On a side note, Andy, you MUST, MUST hire Brandi as a full-time BH housewife. She is exactly what the show needs. I love her honesty (without the mean-spiritedness) and he banter/action between her, Lisa V and Ken in Hawaii made me laugh (thank goodness, was getting a little heavy there). Enjoy the rest of your time off, and see you Monday night. Woot-woot!
Hey when will we have some new Jersey on???? I'm anxious to see what my favs have been up to!!! Andy Cohen is the bomb!!!! Keep up the good work Bravo!!!!
OMG you were in LA for NYE I live here and I completely agree with you about the energy! I wish I could go to NYC for NYE because thats the place to be! I would have totally had a heart attack if I saw you lol... Can't wait for watch what happens live to be 5 nights!! I love watching your show and I love you. :) HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Happy New Year Andy!! Guess what? I am sooooooo happy! The Bravo store has re-stocked, and I finally got my "Mazel" mug! (the blue & white one)...I also could not RESIST the Mazel t shirt, it is so cute! I adore you, and your mannerisms and the things you say make me cackle with glee! I also like the fact that you are REAL with your interviews and refuse to be bulldozed over!
Love love LOVE Brad's new show!!! Sounds like you had a busy break...so looking forward to your book! Cheers from Austin, TX and Happy New Year!!!
