Andy's stoked for the new season (even though he's still recovering from Halloweave).

It's been a blast seeing past seasons of Top Chef on Bravo over the past few days, but tonight is all new with the premiere of Top Chef: Texas right after Work of Art, which features SJP as a guest judge.

We shook things up in Texas right from the get go. Since it had been over a year since we auditioned chefs for the show (last season was All Stars, remember?), there were record amounts of chefs trying to compete. So we brought in 29 chefs to start out and compete right off the bat for 16 chef coats. It's a fun twist that lets you in on the process of getting on the show. We have some great chefs and characters this time around.

I'm really excited that Hugh Acheson and Emeril Lagasse are joining Judges' Table in Texas. Both bring their unique voice and humor to the proceedings. And it's fun to look at the Hugh-nibrow.

In other news, I am still recovering from that INSANE Halloweave Special the other night. Did I give Phaedra poppers on national television? I told you it would be like no other!  Here are some random clips from the show, including our slutty boy scout bobbing for implants, in slo-mo!
