Andy Cohen recounts his star-studded Oscar party weekend.
It's Top Chef finale day so I figure it's a good day to begin with a blog. Tonight the two finalists -- Paul and Sarah -- are on WWHL, and one of them will be the new Top Chef. M to the Azel.
I had a blast in Los Angeles over the weekend, sharing in the Oscar madness. We went to a bunch of really fun parties and met some cool people. On Sunday, I had lunch at the Polo Lounge and it was a total scene -- we saw (separately) Nancy Reagan, Carolina Herrera, Tory Burch, Joan Collins, and Ben Stein. How's that for a Hollywood group?
I thought the Oscars was OK. I loved the Christopher Guest thing, seeing all the Bridesmaids, and Emma Stone. I was happy about Meryl Streep's win. How can you not love Meryl Freakin Streep?
After we watched the show we went to the Vanity Fair party and Madonna's. Both were incredibly fun and amazing people-watching. I was ogling two people at VF -- Tim Tebow and Catherine O'Hara. I love a funny lady and O'Hara was one of my original crushes back from SCTV days. We chatted and I smiled. Later in the night I danced with Kristin Wiig and so my funnylady love tank was really full. Oh, and we ran into former WWHL guests Regina King and Robin Thicke (seperately) at VF -- I want them both back in the Clubhouse!
Did you know that on Thursday night Kris Jenner and Nancy Grace are on WWHL? That should be something wild!
