I am horribly out of sync with my blog, and I apologize to anybody whose been checking this space. How is it possible that I wrote a book in four months and now am falling off the blog wagon? I think it has to do with my new five-night-a-week schedule and generally being out of whack.
I had a great time on the show this week, and love how different every episode was. I can't believe what a great guy Daniel Radcliffe is, and I loved all the scoop Ryan Murphy spilled about his shows on Monday night. And did you see how pissed I got about the cheese on my rug on Wednesday night? When did I become Jeff Lewis? We did indeed get the damn cheese off the rug, and so I shouldn't have worried.
After that show I went out with Patti to an AmfAR party hosted by Heidi Klum. It was pretty fun, and I especially enjoyed witnessing a moment of insanity when Dina Lohan either left the event in a huff or was ushered out of the event in a huff. I couldn't tell what was happening but she seemed like an O.C. Housewife on a rampage. She was FURIOUS.
Speaking of O.C., we are all in a lather at Bravo HQ about how fantastic this new season -- it's SEVENTH -- is. I have a special place in my heart for the O.C. gals and that show, which I always say reminds me of Knots Landing, and there's something about this season that totally clicks right from the start. I am forever amazed by what happens in front of a camera when you turn it on. Truth is forever stranger than fiction -- it's so trite but proven true every time I pop in a rough cut of most of our shows. And I love human behavior. And I'm a voyeur, of course.
Hi Tracie;Wonderful post. I'm new to your blog and bveeile I have found a gem! My resolutions were what Not to do in 2011 (a bit weird but so am I):1. Not to flunk out of the Masters program I'm beginning in January at the ripe old age of 57.2. Not to stay unemployed so long I end up on the streets.3. Not to gain weight. Please Lord!4. Not to put myself down. That's it, well so far. Love your blog. I think you are doing good things here, and I look forward to visiting again.Happy New Year!Terri
Again I have to comment that I am loving WWHL and miss you when you aren't on Friday and Saturday. Not that you don't need a few days off, but that is how much I am enjoying the shows.
I enjoy them the most when you have the "big names" on. Ralpf Feinnes, Daniel Radcliff, Gloria Estefan.....they seem to relate to "having fun" and don't plead the fifth (best game ever)!!
Please have on Lisa, Ken and Giggy to say good bye if possible.
Keep up the great work, I am loving WWHL now on five nights a week.
Andy, I know people watch the shows and things get by but whose that man with new housewife Heather in 1st meeting with Tamra? Man in 1st show not the same man as husband? What is going on????????????????????/
Andy Andy Andy, you had Patti Stanger on and you didn't even talk about gay relationship? Why not? 35% of the world you left out? Get her back on and have her talk about "gay" relationships PLEASE! sheeeeesh
Andy first of all let me say that you are the cutest jewish guy I've ever seen! You're witty, intelligent and have one of the best baritone voices I've ever heard. You are also HILARIOUS!!!!! The Bev Hills Reunion is just the best! I love all of the girls for different reasons! I don't think that you should change a thing as far as casting goes. Brandi is a scream...Kyle is beautiful and unflappable...Lisa is quite funny and the true antithesis of a proper British lady...Camille is so much more likeable this season, and continues to contribute to my enjoyment...Adrianne is an inspirational, strong, savvy businesswoman...I love me some Taylor...and the Dana was just the icing on the cake! If it ain't broke don't fix it! Bev Hills is truly my "guilty pleasure"!
Andy I like your show. I also like your funniness as well as seriousness. Your the only night talk show I like watching. Everyone of your guess, except Tom Colicco, I have enjoyed watching. I hope your show gets bigger and even expand to a Very High Top Rated late night show that is viewed by all! Your, bad too, a nice bad, though!
Andy, I just want to tell you how much I love your show. Bravo to BRAVO for having your show on. A big fan, Toni Anne in Florida
Andy, No Mazel for you. Tell me you and the ladies weren't seriously asking Lisa to change her British sense of humor. You/the ladies can take offense as the recipients as is your right, but you/we have no right to ask someone to change their cultural proclivities just because you/we don't always understand it. Your alternatives are accept them for who they are or remove yourself from the situation and discomfort of being exposed to a culture's sense of humor that you don't understand. I don't believe you really considered this side of the coin. My friend, you owe Lisa an apology. Only then will you get a Mazel. We Love you Andy, I really hope you read this.
Deep In the Heart of Texas
Love your show. Had to leave Chelsey three nights a week but you keep it intersting. Like the "FIFTH" and wish we could use this on our politicians.
