Andy Cohen recounts his star-studded Oscar party weekend.

on Feb 29, 20120

It's Top Chef finale day so I figure it's a good day to begin with a blog. Tonight the two finalists -- Paul and Sarah -- are on WWHL, and one of them will be the new Top Chef. M to the Azel.

I had a blast in Los Angeles over the weekend, sharing in the Oscar madness. We went to a bunch of really fun parties and met some cool people. On Sunday, I had lunch at the Polo Lounge and it was a total scene -- we saw (separately) Nancy Reagan, Carolina Herrera, Tory Burch, Joan Collins, and Ben Stein. How's that for a Hollywood group?

I thought the Oscars was OK. I loved the Christopher Guest thing, seeing all the Bridesmaids, and Emma Stone. I was happy about Meryl Streep's win. How can you not love Meryl Freakin Streep?

After we watched the show we went to the Vanity Fair party and Madonna's. Both were incredibly fun and amazing people-watching. I was ogling two people at VF -- Tim Tebow and Catherine O'Hara. I love a funny lady and O'Hara was one of my original crushes back from SCTV days. We chatted and I smiled. Later in the night I danced with Kristin Wiig and so my funnylady love tank was really full. Oh, and we ran into former WWHL guests Regina King and Robin Thicke (seperately) at VF -- I want them both back in the Clubhouse!

Did you know that on Thursday night Kris Jenner and Nancy Grace are on WWHL?  That should be something wild!

I loved Nancy Grace, what a hoot. She was adorable! Now Kris Jenner doing damage control for the Kardashians, I can skip past. She says "leave her daughter alone" well the American people have had enough of this family with their fraud and sham tactics for money. Im sure Kris and the lot of them are losing money due to the whole wedding and divorce thing. But I am on the husband's side. He got duped by them and Channel E!

Love you Andy. Andy why do we have to be subjected to Slade? He is not a housewife nor is he a househusband. He is just so creepy. Last show was a Slade show...why? I have to turn off my favorite show because Bravo puts creepy people that do not belong on their shows. Can't wait for RHONJ and RHOBH. At least juicy Joe is juicy not creepy.

ANDY...BRAVO BRAVO for Brads finale and his show in general....I think that is the greatest moment in Bravo history!! I have not stopped singing the entire score from Les Mis all week. I cant get enough of that show....what a delight. Bethenny is also a refreshing change..Alot of the other shows are tired..The housewives are bringing me down.....and then i started watching Brads show and simply fell in love with both Brad and Gary. It was uplifting to see NO backstabbing..no mean petty behaviour...so Im thinking that maybe bravo should incorporate more of that and less of the other...I mean watching the deterioration of the NJ housewives was heartbreaking..so sad to watch greed and fame tear them down...OC too is so petty and mean....I cant even imagine what NY will be like without Jill..I dont imagine that it will hold my interest...and remember Andy I watch EVERY show on BRAVO everyone!! so Im an UBER fan..a quick review..ok the housewives need revamping..Brad is perfect so is Bethenny..Top chef is getting tired..Patti S is getting old...wwhl is a gem and I LOVE SANDRA BERNHARD to pieces..I think she is an acquired taste though...What happened to Rosie Pope, that was adorable..and I actually loved the DC housewives...I wish you would bring them back..without the salahis...thats enough for you to work on for now..LOVE YOU ANDY I will be in touch LOL

Hi Andy,

I like the Real Housewives of Atlanta, but lately both the show and the website have been hijacked by the Kim and Kroy romance. I'm happy for them and glad that their getting their own show, but could Bravo please get back to the rest of the cast of RHOA?

Hey Andy, I loved WWHL last night. Jackie Collins is so irreverent and honest. Ali was dead on when she declared that Slade simply wasn't funny. Just because he called himself a comedian didn't make it so. The audience's tepid reaction said it all. Even his cute mom was appalled. He should have gotten the hook. He's still a douche bag because his only visible source of income is being a perennial housewife-boyfriend. Slade's gossipy ways makes him a Gentile-Yenta (always whining about Vicki and Tamra). Please, downsize his role. This entire season of Top Chef has been tangled with convoluted tricks. I haven't watched one single rerun. In seasons past, I watched them over and over. Sour Sarah vs Precious Paul is a no brainer for the viewers. Of course, it will ultimately be Tom's decision.
