Can't take things too seriously.

Sitting in a cafe in Riga.
-
Sitting in a restaurant with one of my best friends, Cynthia.
-
Sitting on a bus going from Riga to Vilnius. Traveling is very important to me. The world is big and there is lots to learn and experience.
-
More travel... Riding on a motorbike in Vietnam with my girlfriend Rebecca.
-
The sea and sand are important, but so is Wi-Fi! Looking but not finding on Phu Quoc Island.
-
On the Pulaski Bridge connecting Brooklyn to Queens, with the Manhattan skyline in the background. Is there any cityscape more welcoming?
-
At a soup vendor in Ho Chi Minh City... Did I mention Vietnamese food is my favorite?
-
I like to cook at home too. Making breakfast and pancakes is one of my specialties.
-
At home we like to hang dry our laundry. It's old school, free, and environmentally friendly.
-
When I watch tv, it's usually tennis. - my favorite sport, which I grew up playing in Florida. I used to think it was the perfect profession... well-paid, you get to travel, you can get a tan, keep fit, and wear cool clothes (sometimes).
-
I don't have a real studio... here I am making a pedestal for a work, directly in the gallery where it is shown.
-
The living room/studio again. If need be, I clear the floor to make a mess. Otherwise, it's a comfy place to work (on smaller pieces, anyway).
-
The painting to the left is by me. It's always nice inside my apartment, where I work and think. The outside world is kept at bay.
-
At a bridge in Vilnius, Lithuania, where lovers etch padlocks with their names and initials and shackle their pronouncements to the iron railing. In the end, it's always about Love.
-
Some examples of my work.... A self-portrait.
-
A cake made from acrylic paint.
-
A plate of spaghetti made from acrylic paint.
-
I have used dinner parties as a medium in the past, as sculpture and performance work.
-
I like the idea of a "gift economy." Here I am dressed up with other friends/collaborators for a live, real-time dating game performance, where we try to hook up several contestants looking for love.
